Traveling from FL back to MN. They still have smoking rooms which is almost unheard of and you can smell it throughout the motel. Owners try hard and they do a pretty good job but could use some updating and don’t expect much for amenities. But you get what you pay for.

There was no one at the desk for check in. Too multiple calls to get someone to the front desk. The Bathroom was dirty. I started my period and the charged Me for damages, bc blood was on the towels. They hung up on me and refused a refund on the fake damages. It smelled bad and heater was loud and obnoxious all night!

Property was grossly maintained. Heater in room did not work and nothing was offered to fix it. I would highly recommend no one staying there. Our beddings were dirty room smelled and nothing else was offered to move to. I complained but staff did not care and wouldn't refund my money so we could go somewhere else

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The rooms were incredibly outdated and in poor condition. The door locks were either missing or barely functional, the paint was peeling, and the bathroom fixtures looked like they hadn’t been replaced in decades. The furnishings were dilapidated, giving the room a neglected and uninviting feel. To make matters worse, the entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke, even in non-smoking areas. Adding to the frustration, the staff provided minimal service—you’re expected to retrieve items like towels or an iron yourself, which is unacceptable for any hotel. Overall, this stay left much to be desired, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for even a basic level of comfort or cleanliness.

They advertise breakfast but, in my opinion chocolate chip chewy off brand granola bars, a few chocolate sprinkle donuts from walmart and a bowl of apples, is not breakfast. They also advertise having soap and shampoo. They had 1 shampoo for 2 people for 2 days and the worst soap I've ever seen. It was a tiny bar of brown soap. Smelled like wax. Made water brown. Overall just gross. 1 tiny bar was supposed to be for washing hands and foe use in the shower for 2 people for 2 nights. Fixtures in the room look like they came from dump. Plastic holders for blow dryer and something else were on the wall but, no blow dryer or other thing were present. There were crumbs in the chair and in the fridge. The side entrance door was left open as the room key lock thing didn't work. Overall, cheap, gross feel at thia place. We will not be going back.

I enjoyed the quick check in after having to wait until 3pm after traveling all morning. I did not enjoy having to flush the toilet multiple of times due to it not flushing properly at all.

We were in Marshall, MO, for homecoming at Missouri Valley College. The only good hotel was booked, so we ended up at Super 8. The price was about $55/night, so we were skeptical about the quality---and we were right. The place is fatigued, including the rooms. Furniture was dented and peeling. Coffee pot was dirty, so we never made coffee in our room. There was no extra lock inside the room--it had been ripped away. No hair dryer, no ironing board, no closet. The bathroom had faded paint and holes where a towel rack might have been. Tiny wrapped soaps and one teeny bottle of shampoo (We went out and bought our own soap and shampoo.) The shower curtain was wrinkled, the blanket on the bed was worn and thin. Breakfast Forget it--another dirty coffee pot, a package of mini-muffins from WalMart and a bowl of apples. A single table in the lobby...if you dared to eat. The hotel accepts smokers, so there's a lingering smell of stale cigarettes. Room service every three days. We always said we weren't picky about hotels, as long as there was a hot shower and decent bed. After three nights here, we agreed that we needed to up our standards.
