Fabulous and Relaxing
Beautifully restored bed and breakfast in the heart of charming Valparaiso. Easy walk to all downtown shops and restaurants. Jim and Liz are wonderful hosts who treat their guests with fantastic service. The 3 course breakfasts were fabulous. Highly highly recommend staying here!

From start (amazing, healthy and filling breakfasts) to finish (hot tub under the stars), the Inn delivered. Plenty of nooks to escape to, like chairs in the shade outside or various living rooms and the innkeepers couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, down to suggesting restaurants from among the many to choose from and even making our reservation. Can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else. Close to Dune beaches (20 minutes -- visit the smaller ones for fewer crowds) and very easy walk to a picture-perfect downtown. Great place, great food, great experience.

This was a first Bed and Breakfast experience for my wife and I. We loved it and will definitely do it again! The rooms are fun and unique, and the breakfasts each morning were absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!!

Unexpected gem
The owner took a personal interest in us we were there to move our daughter into college. We got there later than expected. But he waited for us. The place is amazing. Not a single thing was out of place. He answered all the questions my wife was asking about the place. All the while he was cooking breakfast. A three course one at that. Which was great. And we were a mile from campus and two blocks from downtown. If you have any questions call him direct.

Excellent visit! I was in Valparaiso to visit Lake Michigan (Indiana Dunes NP is about a half an hour away) and the Valpo Inn was a great option! Jim, the innkeeper was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The rooms are all fantastic and uniquely decorated. Breakfast was absolutely incredible and I miss it already. Fresh made muffins are one of my favorite foods so that was a nice bonus each day. All in all, it was a great visit and I can't wait to go back.

Gem of a B&B
What an amazing gem we found on our recent visit to Valparaiso. We travel frequently there to visit family and friends and decided to treat ourselves to a stay near downtown. The beautiful home has been restored impeccably. Every little detail down to the period of its original time— all furnishings with the exception of luxurious bathrooms which were beautifully done. Jim, our host was amazing. He greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a history of the house. Our room was very comfortable and inviting. Breakfast, well, let’s just say was absolutely delicious. All served on beautiful antique china in the grand fashion of years gone by. We were treated to homemade muffins and pastries, fresh fruit and one morning French toast with sautéed apples and cinnamon and one morning we had the surprise of crab Benedict. We parked our car and walked the short blocks to downtown where we had a dinner out and shopped along Lincolnway. We will be back and have already told many friends and family about our great find

Great stay!
The bed and breakfast was beautiful! Jim was a great host, gave great recommendations and made us feel welcome right away! The home is incredible and comfortable. Super clean and great location! Everything in walking distance! We cant wait to visit again!

Fabulous Place to Stay!
The Valparaiso Inn is a fabulous place to stay when you are in the area. Absolutely beautiful home. Accommodations are just wonderful. 5 minute walk to the downtown area. And the breakfast...AMAZING!

We had a wonderful stay at the Valparaiso Inn. Jim is a terrific host, very helpful with information and he makes a delicious breakfast. The property is a remarkable, beautifully restored mansion with all the modern amenities. Plus, it is just a few blocks from a vibrant downtown area. 2 big thumbs up for the Valparaiso Inn!

A classy, clean, and distinctive inn with all the amenities you can think of. The inn is conveniently located, just a block away from restaurants in the downtown area. Owners Jim and Liz were super friendly and warm. Breakfast was tremendous. Easily the best hospitality option in Valparaiso.

It was an amazing stay! Everything was perfect. The breakfasts we had were gourmet and delicious. The decor was perfect. Every detail was just right, the owners thought of everything. A treasure beyond treasures...
What a gem, what a treasure. Why stay at a hotel when you can travel and stay in a style? You can read elsewhere about this fabulous places incredible accommodations, fantastic hospitality from its innkeepers and its sumptuous breakfast served exquisitely everywhere. What I will tell you is that if you want to instantly become part of the Valpo community, feel like you live and thrive in their neighborhood, and want to be able to simply walk 3 blocks to a vibrant main street with sidewalk cafes and charming store, what are you waiting for? Treat yourself to the best inn in Valparaiso. Feel like you own a mansion and feel like a resident with a staff. THIS is not simply a place to stay. This is an experience to savor and remember. My highest recommendations.
