Aesthetically, the property was really nice! The food and service were great! My issue was the strong odor and visible presence of mold and mildew in the sleeping areas. I traveled with my 1 y/o daughter. The air quality in the first room was so poor, I developed an instant headache and she began sneezing repeatedly within 3 minutes of being in the room. The air was so moist, the bedding felt wet and there was a pool of water under the resort brochure because it was dripping in condensation. After complaining, we were moved to the room next door. The air quality was better but still bad. I complained for 2 days to the concierge but was never relocated. My daughter eventually ended up getting so sick, we needed to visit the on-site medical clinic. Afterward, we were moved to a THIRD room on the other side of the resort. It was a complete 180 in terms of air quality, however, a portion of the ceiling in the shower kept falling, I'm assuming from the moisture in the shower. If traveling again, I likely will not stay at this resort as this is a known issue and it appears that nothing outside of patchwork is being done to it. There are several staff members who made our experience fantastic in spite of the living conditions, and for that, I am incredibly grateful!
