Best nights sleep for a long time
I have to say that it was the best nights sleep my wife and I have had for a very long time. Jack I think was worth a special mention he catered for us exceptionally well at reception and in the restaurant. The receptionist at the spa was also very friendly and helpful.

Amazing Hotel
Amazing hotel, every room has a beautiful view and the staff are mega friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good quality and theres a free shuttle into Salcombe which is amazing.

We loved the location of the property and the style but we were really dissapointed that we paid almost £150 more to have a 'sea view' room rather than a valley view. We were in room 1 and yes you could see the sea but through the reception glass and there were seats in front of the balcony. This was really dissapointing and sadly meant we did not feel comfortable sitting out and we couldnt really see the sea if we did - just the flow of people in and out of the reception area. Other than this we liked the property. We would not take the risk of booking a 'sea view' room in future sadly

Not a do again.
The hotel is beautiful but I’m not sure I would stay again. The music played in the lounge/bar was horrible not in keeping with the hotel clientele, obviously for the benefit of the staff. The food selection is limited and the quality poor, my evening meal and hot breakfast were dry with little taste. The distance into Salcombe requires transportation and the hotel shuttle only has four seats so you are very lucky if you can get the time you want. I’m not sure why there’s an aversion to Cabernet Sauvignon but the wine by the glass is not for a wine drinker. I asked that the discretionary service charge be removed from my final bill. Gratuity is earned and not in my opinion a subsidy to the hotel coffers. Although the hotel is only a few years old it’s not getting the TLC it needs, as an example the curtains in our room are already in need of attention.

Will definitely book again! Heaven!
Our stay was absolutely amazing, from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautiful, perfect view of the sea. Food and service was great. It was my Birthday and we had a few treats courtesy of the hotel, which was lovely. Overall a great night away!

The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. The hotel ran a shuttle service into Salcombe which was helpful in the evenings. We were also upgraded to a suite as I mentioned it was a 40th birthday treat

A Great Hotel In A Great Location
The hotel and staff were amazing. We were well looked after. The Spa was also great and so was the restaurant. Only issue we had was air con in the room was noisy but we told Reception and said they would look into it.

Fab hotel -
Its our 3rd visit. Such a great place to relax. Amazing view across the beach from the balcony's. Wonderful food. All staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended especially for short breaks to refresh.
