We booked the hotel the booking was already charged to my account, we arrived after an 8 hour drive and had made around 20 attempts to call the front office to notify them of our intended late arrival the front desk staff never picked up our calls even once.
We arrived and found no one at the front desk and called out if anyone was around, some shabby looking lady that looked like she just woke up from a nap came and said we didn’t have a booking.
I asked her why she didn’t pick up any of our calls she lied that she was at the desk the whole time. Two of us had had made multiple attempts to call the desk through out our journey unsuccessfully. We now had to scramble to find new accommodation despite being so tired from the long drive.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. She called some manager and I talked to him and he claimed that they no longer do online bookings. The lady at the reception also claimed that the hotel was no longer online despite the hotel url being still active.
The lady at the front desk also never looked into the computer for our booking and opened some dirty book and claimed that our booking wasn’t there.
During our drive we had also sent them and email about our late arrival.
Some Fatma actually replied to the email the following day claiming that they had seen our booking late and that our booking was ready. So this means they lied to us about the hotel website not being online.
The also called security on us.
