Amazing hosts and great casa
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Barmarin and would recommend this casa for staying in Trinidad. The casa was very clean and well taken care of with a great courtyard to enjoy breakfasts and a lounge area inside. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and we can't say enough good things about them. They were friendly, helpful with information, incredibly accommodating to our needs and essentially drove us to all of our activities while also connecting us with knowledgeable guides. The casa is in an excellent location being close to Plaza Mayor and all the main sights, but also on a very quiet street to allow for a good night's sleep. There were frequent power outages, but they were always willing to run the generator for showers. The only downside was that our room got hot at night. But overall, this is a superior place to stay.

Vi havde helt igennem en fantastisk oplevelse - hvor vi fik utrolig meget hjælp af værtsparret. Vi blev bl.a. kørt til stranden og vandfaldet af Iunit. Meget gæstfrie og helt igennem fantastiske mennesker - som gav os indblik i Cubanske forhold. Casa Bahrain er placeret centralt i forhold til Gran Plaza og kan varmt anbefales

Excelente opción en el centro de Trinidad!
Preciosa casa en pleno centro de Trinidad, a pocos minutos a pie de todas las atracciones turísticas y restaurantes. Decorada con excelente gusto. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Atención excelente del personal, atentos a todo. Recomendamos además a Duviel como guía de Trinidad o el Valle de los Ingenios. Muy buen desayuno en el patio común. Volveríamos a alojarnos allí sin dudar!

What a Gem!! Beautiful renovated. Rooms and bathroom spotless and beds very comfortable. Felix met us on arrival. Him and his brothers, are utmost friendly and helpful, giving us tips and organized taxis to the beach and Topes de Coliantes. Duviel, who also features in Lonely Planet (quite a co-incident that we only found out once we were there) is also an excellent guide for the history and buildings of Trinidad. Lovely Breakfast was served every morning. We can only say : Go stay there and enjoy and appreciate their hospitality!! Thank you again for making our stay very special!!

Fantastic casa
We loved this casa which is in a great locarion. Simple but tastfully decorated with a shared patio at the back. Felix who looked after us was super helpful with recommendations etc - Felix and his brothers and mum who run the casa really work hard to make your stay perfect. The breakfasts were great, we particularly loved the little hotcakes. The casa also has a generator to power some lights and plugs during a blackout so you can still see and charge phones etc (important when you can consider there 3 blackouts of different lengths whilst we were there). We also did the guided city tour with Felix's brother - would highly recommend doing this even if Trinidad is quite small. His brother shared so much interesting info and took us into places we would have missed otherwise. We would definitely stay here again if back in Trinidad

The Best Place to Stay in Trinidad
This stay was incredible! Felix and his family are so friendly and accomodating. Camila, the owner, was also super helpful and communicative prior to our trip. The hotel is absolutely stunning. And interior deigner/decorator's dream. It's beautifully decorated in keeping with the Cuban heritage. The room was very clean and quiet Breakfast was also great! We could not fault this place one bit. Highly recommended when staying in Trinidad!!

Poderiam ser melhores no atendimento.
A casa é muitíssimo bem localizada e tem ótimas acomodações. Café da manhã bem completinho. Não gostamos muito da receptividade e nem do fato de terem deixado nosso quarto todo aberto e lotaaado de pernilongos no dia do check-in. Vale ressaltar que falta muita luz na cidade, mas lá nos entregavam lanternas para usar no quarto.

Une casa de charme à Trinidad
Séjour plaisant dans la Casa Barmarin. L'accueil est sympathique, le personnel aidant. Le petit déjeuner servi dans le jardin est correct pour Cuba. La chambre est jolie, décorée avec goût. Nous nous sommes juste sentis un peu enfermés car il n'y a qu'une fenêtre peu accessible et donnant sur le patio mais cela est dû à l'architecture traditionnelle de la casa. On accepte donc puisqu'on ne vient pas à Trinidad pour retrouver nos normes de confort européen!

Our experience at Casa Barmarin was absolutely wonderful. The 3 brothers and their mother were very accommodating and attentive. We had an informative and enjoyable tour of the sugar plantations in the area with one of the brothers. If we had had more time the brothers would have arranged a tour of the city. If you are visiting Trinidad Cuba we highly recommend staying at Casa Barmarin!

Tolle Unterkunft mit unglaublich netter und aufmerksamer Betreuung vor Ort. Hatten 2x eine Panne mit Auto und die Jungs in der Unterkunft haben uns mit Übersetzung und Telefonaten sehr weitergeholfen. Die Casa liegt auch sehr zentral in Trinidad und man kann gut zu Fuß alles erreichen. Die Casa ist sehr sauber und ruhig. Das WIFI war nicht immer funktionstüchtig, aber das scheint generell auf Kuba ein Problem zu sein. Können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.
