The location to the historic district was good. That was about the only positive thing about this property. Upon our arrival we were given an upgrade because the room we reserved was unavailable. At that point I asked if we would have to move rooms the next day. I was assured we would not and I even offered to pay at that point and I was told no. We went up to the room and unpacked. The next day we went on a tour and we’re gone for 12 hours, upon arrival we were told we needed to move rooms because someone else had paid for that room. After going back and forth with the very rude front desk person, she was supposedly on the phone with the manager, we were told we could stay in the room until the next day but that we would have to move. The only thing they offered was to help move our luggage. Seriously? We did have to pack our things and move rooms but we were without a room for a few hours while housekeeping cleaned the vacate rooms. Finally when we got our new room, we were given a room with 2 full beds, not 2 queen beds like we had paid for. Again having to deal with rude people at the front desk we were told that that was all they had. Besides the poor customer service, there is no privacy, no lock on the bathroom door, the roof to bathroom is open to the room so you can near everything! There is only one drawer that has blankets in it so unpacking was challenging and the lighting in the room/bath was terrible. I will not stay there again. Very disappointed!
