The pool heater wasn't working and we booked a two queen but ended up with one king instead. We had to use the hide-a-bed and it had a giant pee spot on it. Other than that, the room was clean. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive.

Absolutely disappointed. We asked for a refund because the pool and slide were closed and the only reason we picked this hotel was to enjoy the time with our kids. We were never issued a refund and I know if someone cared they could make it happen. We will never be using Hotels.com again even though we’ve used them for all our travels the last 7 years or so. We never even stayed at the hotel and went for great Wolfe lodge instead.

Thumbs Down
Start of by them saying pool was down until next day, next morning they say next week. Now they let us know we can swim at the sister hotel.
No hot water in our room. Waited until 12:30 A.M to still have no hot water. Next day have hot water. Shower floor was brown. Used towel to stand in it.
Breakfast was burnt, bad and some had mold.
All that was said was, my apologies. Won't be back.

Upon arrival we waited about 8 minutes before anyone came to the front desk to check us in. At check in they asked if we would change rooms. I agreed as long as it was the same price. We got our key and went to the room to find it hadn’t been cleaned. The bed was not made and dirty towels in the bathroom. We went back downstairs and the guy told me he didn’t have any more rooms. I asked for him to cancel my payment and he told me I had to since I booked from a third party. I tried and since I had checked in it wouldn’t let me cancel. He then said he could get me in a queen bed. We went to the room and there were bags belonging to someone else in there along with other personal belongings. We went back down and he said he could give me a suite for the same price. He went up and checked the room before he gave us the keys. This room was great. They did make it right, but I’m not sure why he told me he didn’t have any rooms when he did have some available.

The elevator and entire floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Which was odd because the person at the front desk even made a point to tell us not to smoke in his rooms.
