Elevator out / pillow cases and sheets/ waffle etc

The elevators were only down to 1 working elevator and we had to share with the workers of the facility. It was a little bit aggravating because the workers some couldn’t speak English and they were rude to us guests. We had to wait in line all the way to the lobby to get on a working elevator. It was two elevators but one working one. The other elevator was out of service. Also. For breakfast everyone was trying to make waffles at the same time and the waffle dispenser was out until we were able to get someone to help refill it. The bed sheets and pillow cases had black lines on them.

Very unhappy

I have stayed at this property multiple times while visiting family. This was the last time! I will find somewhere else to stay from now on. First, my rate jumped from $179 per night Tue-Thu to $399!!!! on Fri.!! That’s freaking ridiculous! Friday was the worst night! There were kids running up and down the hallway at midnight! The complimentary breakfast was gross! Every time I tried to get food there were multiple families with kids running around touching the food.

This hotel is misleading, their's no bar ,the hotel cleaning staff doesn't speak English, they also say their will be coffee provided around the clock it's not. You half to deal with different personalities from the front desk. My room was for a family of six, i was told that i would have an sofa bed with 2 queen beds and it wasn't .they ended up telling me that they would provided a roller bed instead. They only had to waffle maker's with 50 people waiting to make one .they didn't provide clean linen for the 4 day's we was there. We had to hunt them down to asked for linen and the staff didn't speak English we had to write it down. Overall cleanest of the hotel was clean and everything smells new .but they needs to get better on customer service and providing visters with clean linen and better food options and also update their website page because there was no bar nor round clock coffee or baggage carrier

Pretty good overall!

We were here overnight to enjoy OWA. The hotel was very clean and the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was decent. I hate that there weren't any meat optiona other than pork sausage.The beds are advertised as 2 Queens but they seemed a little smaller than what I've experienced at other hotels. The rooms were very modern but also seemed unfinished. Like the towels and bathroom items were in a large basket under the sink. Not something I've experienced from a Marriott in the past. Overall, I like that we were on OWA grounds and would consider staying again in the future.

Nice stay

Hotel is clean and comfortable, and the location is wonderful. Walking distance to Tropic Falls and not too far from Gulf Shores. You can even drive to Pensacola for a one day trip. The worst part was the customer service at the front desk. People there was not very friendly, no eye contact with customers, not even a "good morning". The breakfast area ladies were all very nice, and the breakfast was nice as well. If you're planning going to OWA, this hotel is the best option.

Construction Going On

We have stayed here before, but they had major construction going on. We were on the first floor and sounded like they were going to come through the floor. I would usually recommend, but waking up to drilling and hammering was not enjoyable.

Ehhhh

One of the plates in the cabinet had food and hair on it. Renovations were being completed so I was woken up with banging that lasted for hours. Bed was not comfy, wish I would have known about the renovations. The banging for hours at a time was horrible, I ended washing all the plates and glasses.
