The ryokan at entrance was beautiful. The lobby and the whole lower floor was spectacular. Loved how walking inside your completely transported to a Japanese experience with bridged walkways shaped of arcs and where there was ponds underneath lthose bridges. Right before entering the onsen, on either men or women, there's an amazing walkway Japanese decorated pathway that leads to their very own and waterfall. It is picture worthy to be posted on any and all social media. The onsens was also amazing. I've only been on the women's side and my husband and son in the men's side, but from the map each side has a inside and outside onsen. It is a public onsen but it was so beautiful and spacious before going into the onsen, to into the onsen inside or outside and even after to clean yourself with all the skincare and hair treatments. They really go all out for you to enjoy their amenities. Our room was on tatami mats, with a full bathroom with shower area and tub. It was very nice and room for all of us, even with a warm blanket for a eating area. My only dissatisfaction was the poor insolation and air in the room. It was exceptionally windy outside. I noticed some ripped wallpaper areas and thought the wind was coming thru there but my husband reassured me it was all over the flooring and all over even where he slept was also cold. Other than that it felt good but was sleeping in the highest temp of 26°C. Other than that would have been 5 stars.
