Checkin was difficult, autoblind in room would not open, asked for a set of towels that were never delivered, had to fix the toilet myself, had to get cardkey reset. Breakfast was nice, appreciated the veteran parking spot. The bed was good and the room was clean. However, for what I paid I don't think I received full value. After I drive all day long I don't want to have to expend additional energy on solving issues that should not exist. I feel I received about 55% of what I paid for. The barking dogs were just a bonus.

Hometown trip with grandkids

I took my grandkids back to my home town to show them the schools I attended & the town I grew up in. Our room was large & AC cooled wonderfully . The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the indoor pool & said the water was warm & felt great. The desk clerks were attentive & very pleasant. Our room had a full size fridge, sink, microwave, & coffeemaker. The breakfast was good. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping including the Alexandria mall which was a really nice mall. I have no complaints & would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through. They has a very nice room with a full size refrigerator. They also had a very nice indoor pool, which is lovely after a long drive. The only complaint is the breakfast, not many options at all. The pancake batter where you make your own pancakes wasnt coming out and was edible. We were disappointed so we stopped and got breakfast elsewhere. The location is good and has plenty of restraunts near by.

There were no towels in our room. I had to go downstairs and get them. The doors on our floor need to be painted. The hotel is going down in appearance. It used to look so clean and bright.

Could be a super nice property if it was cleaned up a little and made some minor repairs. They had taken some kind of sticker off of the guest doors that had left glue like substance that had collected dirt. A bunch of tiles were broken in both rooms we had booked. There were stains on carpet and couches in both rooms. The toilet flushers were corroded and nasty. Dirt caked on floor boards and around doors and windows. Staff was great and so was breakfast. A little elbow grease and the property could look way better.
