I was incredibly disappointed with my stay at Big Cypress Lodge in Memphis. From the moment we arrived, the service was underwhelming. The wait staff seemed more focused on their phones or chatting with each other than on ensuring guests had everything they needed. There was little effort to provide a welcoming or attentive experience.
Additionally, the cleanliness of our terrace suite did not meet the high standards I would expect—especially given the price we paid. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected far better attention to detail.
In contrast, my stay at the Big Cypress Lodge in Branson, Missouri, was outstanding. The service, staff, cleanliness, and overall experience were exceptional, leaving me thoroughly impressed. Naturally, I expected the same level of excellence in Memphis, but unfortunately, it fell far short.
Given my experience, I will not be returning to the Big Cypress Lodge in Memphis, nor will I recommend it to others. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as this location has significant room for improvement.
