The hotel’s location is ideal—central and within walking distance of major attractions, which made exploring the area easy. The breakfast was also decent, with some vegan options available, including milk, yogurt, cheese, and meat alternatives for bread.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms. Upon check-in, there were a few stray hairs on the bedding, and one of the rooms had a strange smell. The hotel states that rooms are only serviced every other day for environmental reasons, but we still had issues. When we requested fresh bedding, the staff didn’t change it and left three large towels instead of the usual two large and two small. There were no new bin liners/trash bags, and no dusting or cleaning was done.
The next morning, I spoke to the receptionist and requested new bedding and cleaning, explaining the state of the “servicing” the previous day. After that day, one room was made up, but the bedding wasn’t changed, and towels with mascara stains (placed on the floor) were just hung up again. The second room wasn’t touched at all, and we had to go downstairs to ask for fresh towels.
Overall, the location and breakfast were great, but the cleanliness and service didn’t meet expectations, which was disappointing.
