Where given a room that clearly had been smoked in, so asked for another one. Took 15 minutes to get that sorted despite us being the only guests at reception. The room was way overheated and stayed that way despite all the heating being turned off. Carpets very dirty and full of coffee and other stains. Cleaning very random too. Only bright point was the bar staff and the location.

The staff was friendly and it is in a wonderful location. Also the bed is big and comfy. The pictures are not as advertised though. The courtyard is just a small space where you can just see the neighboring concrete apartments/hotel. The room had a weird stain/leak on the carpet, which is outdated. The shower had a weird smell which we can only assume was from mold in it. Lastly, the room just isn't very spacious.

Great place to stay in Berlin. Staff are friendly and always saying hello. Breakfast was excellent. Loads of shops and restaurants close by as well as the Berlin Zoo. The zoo train station is close as well whick links well into Berlin central, the airports and Potsdam.
