Mediocre hotel
Hotel did not do breakfast or provide wifi in the rooms. There was mould and rust in the bathroom and chewing gum stuck to the side of the mirror in the bedroom. But the bed was comfy and the hot water was hot.

Chatsworth Hotel, Hastings
Good location for town. Hotel required updating. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom had black grout in tiles and shower head a bit rusty. Shower Water was warm and actual bath was clean, sink clean although both needed updating. Hair dryer was ancient but did work. Room with sea view but glass had all blown and we could not see out the window properly. It was a good price for a twin room, shared with sister just overnight, as we were visiting family.

We were comfortable and thankful there were blankets in the cupboard. The room etc was clean. No problems except the shower didn't work till we got a workman to see to it. Found the side of the bath rather high to get into. Splendid view over the bay. Janet and John

Disappointed is the only way to sum it up really
Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was too hot to sleep properly, the window only opened a fraction or all the way and it was too windy the weekend we were there to have the window all the way open. The only good thing was the shower was very powerful and had good pressure& hot water The adjoining restaurant we went to on the first night, I'm fairly sure I got food poisoning from too, absolutely would not recommend.

One night stay
Service was friendly. Hotel is clean. Very dated decor and needs a refurb. Twin room. Carpet threadbare in places and the room needs redecorating. Stains in Bath but was clean. Window frame rotten and lots of black mould round it. Windows don't fit properly so lots of noise coming from outside. Its a budget hotel so you get what you pay for. Fantastic sea view though. Overall it was a quick cheap stay.

Basic no frills room with poor lighting, no evening meal facilities, no breakfast facilities, Good points, lift, free evening parking on front.

Was nice to be left alone to do what I needed, but would be better if they had a member of staff consistently on reception as myself and other customers would have to wait a while before someone came to help. WiFi needs to extend to the rooms and there was a lot of noise. Could hear other peoples conversations from my room. Everything else was pleasant enough and worked well for a short stay.
