Close to town and a lovely little find!
Overnight stay, was great for what we needed. Just a short walk from town centre, new owners now in hotel and hotel is lovely would recommend for a short break stay

Lovely lady checked us in and advised that the breakfast we had booked was not available - no refund was offered. We had room 15 on the top floor, lovely and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Shower door didn't close completely and door frame has something spilled down it but generally clean enough. No issues with seagulls/smoke alarms! Reasonable quality but expensive

While i understand there is an off season of margate, I was shocked to learn that the restaurant and bar was not operational, put a hamper on our morning and evening. Secondly the rooms were a bit dusty and so overly hot and being on the road opening the window made the room completely noisy for sleeping or unbearably hot to sleep in. The hotel though did off wonderful views and was in a great walkable area to all of old town Margate.

Great location. Parking is in a public car park around the corner The property is a bit tired - grubby carpets, dirty window sills, water left in kettle, poor shower facilities Expensive for a 1 night stay (imo)

Due to varied reviews we were a little nervous when we arrived. The reception and our room were much better than expected. We had a sea view on the top floor and the room was spacious and well decorated. However, the door lock was stiff and difficult to use, the bathroom door did not close properly and the shower was so poor it was unusable which on a hot day was less than ideal. Location was good, a bit of an uphill walk from the station but not too far.

The staff members we met were pleasant and friendly. The bed was super comfy and best pillows ever - however the place wasn’t entirely clean - the toilet sounded like it was flooding and we couldnt close the toilet door to eliminate the noise at trying found out the toilet door handle was hanging off. Told staff but nothing was done about it. Bin in bathroom couldn’t be used so for sanitation we had to use other in room which wasn’t ideal.

The rooms bathroom door was so stiff the screws on the door had nearly pulled out of the wood. The toilet seat was fitted loosley to the pan .the cistern ran constantly thus having no flush (i have video proof of this) tap missing from shower. This is at most a basic b and b without breakfast as the kitchen was under refurbishment???? On top of this Expedia have the liberty to charge me £30 extra!!! Swriosly need a full refund for this room.

Good base
Room was suffice, it needs some TLC and a bit run down throughout the hotel. Staff were friendly, but seemed a bit disorganised. But convenient in location and good base to explore Margate. Overall a good option but not the cosiest.

Had a great stay at the Victoria Hotel, the room was super clean and the mattress was extremely comfy. The hotel itself was very quiet. Absolutely recommend it!

Tried calling and emailing the hotel for 3 days before our stay to see if we could extend our stay for an additional night. No answer on the phone or to email. The hotel is definitely not 4 star and not worth the £180 a night we paid. Tiny room, in desperate need of tlc and redecorating. Room really hot, only a ceiling fan and a small fan in the wardrobe. Bathroom towels were very worn and in need of replacing, one had holes in and all greyed at the edges. Water in the shower also scalding hot, tried to turn down but just got hotter. We only stayed here as was attending a friends carry event and was a good location. But very poor standards and super expensive for what it is.
