LA Freehand Hotel
Bathroom was too small and water took TOO long to get warm. No amenities line in-room coffee. Black out drapes did not work. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. $59 per day for street parking. Very very noisy location.

The hotel is quite funky and very centrally located. The pool was fun and the service of the pool bar was great. Bars, food and coffee shops are all around

Bad timing for great experience
It was just ok. Get deception for the not working fridge in room, we lost our milk bottle !
Also big big disappointment to get access to roof top bar and pool because it was reserved for a private event. The option to go at Perla hotels was not enough to be satisfied and give more appreciation.

Central located fun and funky hotel
Central location, great rooms (although can be noisy at night as not double glazed windows - bring ear plugs if needed!). Loved the roof top pool at night. Close to grocery store and local things like the Central market etc. Loved the music night with local songwriters - free for hotel guests.

Place is fine but downtown LA is awful
Place was fine but downtown LA sucks. Like there is homeless and crazy people everywhere. Coming from NY this place felt like a different world. The hostel was fine though but you might get unlucky and have bad roommates. But that’s just me, other people might like it and more power to them, downtown LA isn’t for me.

Clean and comfortable
Very clean. Good service. Comfortable bed. Gym was very enclosed like a dungeon so we had to go to a gym and streets were a bit loud with people screaming.

Worth every penny, 1 Bedroom city view
Ease of check-in, friendly door staff to the front desk. Helpful and kind. I appreciate that. The room was big, yet cozy with a cool city view, while also being quiet which made for a great nights rest. The lobby area is very business oriented where I was able to get some work done while meeting with clients at the same time. Highly recommend

We had a few issues with our check-in (double bedroom suit). They lost our reservation. At the end all sorted. Staff was nice and the food good (wouldn't recommend the cocktails).
