Hello 1970’s old and outdated needs an upgrade
Room was very outdated i felt we were back in 1970. Bathroom basin has rust stain around drain. I was not happy with grey coloured towels as you cannot see if they are clean or not. Room was very dark with very little natural light. Bed was comfortable . Desperately needs an update. I believe it was overpriced for what we got

We had a Family room. I was very happy. It was basic but excellent value for money. I requested extra towels and pool towels be placed in our room and they were. This is a great hotel. We used the pool and BBQ. Not the pay BBQ we lost a $1 but the other BBQ worked fine.

I travel to Swan Hill every 2 weeks. I like to stay at the Paruna as it is close to where I need to be. However....I will not be staying there again. 2 stays in a row when I woke in the morning my door was open. I left a note and spoke with the cleaners (as the managers are not on site, ever!). No one got back to me with any type of acknowledgement/excuse/reason as why this might happen. This stay I could not regulate the shower, the hot water kept dropping out. As there are so many options to choose from in Swan Hill I am going to give another Motel my fortnightly business.

Affordable and very tidy. No complaints at the price. The pool and BBQ area is *very* well maintained and functional, a pleasant surprise in this price range.

All good, I would stay there again no worries. My only suggestion is like most motels in the area it would be nice to have a flywire door on the units as Swan Hill gets a lot of flies and mozzies. So you could leave the inside door open when the weather is nice. Apart from that minor point, very happy with my overnight stay (work trip).

We had a lovely stay. Spacious family room. Within walking distance to shops and riverfront. Check-in could be improved though e.g provide a welcome pack that details wifi info and check-out instructions as there was no reception on site. Overall, we would come back and recommend it to our friends.

A disappointing stay.
The bed was comfortable and clean. There was cutlery and crockery, a microwave, a kettle & a toaster, tea & coffee to make a cuppa. The TV reception and the wifi were fine. The carpet had dirty marks all over it, which looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The wash basin had rust around the waste outlet and the soap holder in the shower was missing and two screws were sticking out of the tiles where the soap holder had been. The air conditioner when it warmed up sounded like an aeroplane was going over. I turned it off to hear the TV when we first got there. During the night we could hear the air conditioner in the next room going all night. It was quite annoying. We were disappointed because it read well when we booked it, but it left a lot to be desired. We certainly wouldn’t recommend the motel to anyone.
