Fresh and Clean!
I am so glad I stayed here! Last time I stayed it was pretty depressing and shabby. I love the tattered prom dress places though! The newish team that is running the joint have brightened it up, cleaned it up, and changed the energy of the place. So lovely and the best deal on the coast. Great for Darg too!

Nice with just one important request
Both Front desk people were fantastic. Location is good. Views of the beach rooms really nice. The heating system in the room needs to be updated. The Temp outside was in the mid 35 range and it took well over two hours to heat the room. Semi uncomfortable throughout the night as the temperature dropped. I had to leave the room for two hours after I checked in around 3pm and go downtown to let it warm up.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The facilities are old and need updating. I appreciated having a kitchen however the refrigerator made a loud sound throughout the day, probably because it’s on its last legs. Could not sleep on one bed as it was extremely soft.

I came to Yachats with a friend to spend a couple of days relaxing. The Silver Surf was a great choice. I had never stayed there before, but I will stay there again. The accommodations were clean, very comfortable and the beach access was easy. The staff was excellent. They knew all of the answers to our questions and were very nice. I totally recommend this place.

Dated property. View was amazing. Walls are thin we could hear next door tv and conversations. Room had cobwebs. Bathroom door hinges rusty and didnt completely close. Mile back into town to eat. Staff was friendly. Beach beautiful within walking distance. Would probably not stay here again
