We had 5 stops on this trip and this hotel there and back. The trip back the room was nicer. This hotel had the best continental breakfast. Actually, had eggs. I think hospitality is a lost art. At least on this trip. Definitely no southern hospitality at these northern hotels. They could take some lessons from the Drury Inn in Huntsville AL. I guess that isn't a normal thing anymore. We were just stopping for the night so we didn't use the pool/spa but did on the way there and the hot tub wasn't all that hot.

AMAZING !!!!!!!

It was the best stay i have had at a hotel. We were there for my daughters cheer competition. The lady that checked us in was just amazing and super nice and the best. She does her job to the fullest. She helped us in any way possible. We brought in a ton of pizza and wings for the team. As we stood there trying to figure out where to put it all she immediately jumped right in to help and allowes us to use the meeting room so all the cheer team had a place to eat. My daughter had a girl issue while we were there and me as a busy mom didnt think of that or come prepared. She gave my daughter what she needed and some chocolate. She was simply amazing. I hope someone lets her know and she should get some kind of an award because she deserves it for sure. Would definitely stay again anytime i am in town there.

Call the hotel first!

I booked a handicapped accessible room. I get to the hotel and the lady sees me in a wheelchair and said I'm sorry we don't have the room you booked online. So we had to pay double for our stay and had to get a regular room for us and had to get another room on top of that because we all couldn't fit in the room I was put in if we added a cot due to me being in a wheelchair. I went to use the pool lift to get in the pool and the lift didn't work. I asked the front desk if it works and one person said yes I just have to put the battery on. She put the battery on and it didn't work. Then the other front desk person said that they ordered I fuse and it's on back order. Another front desk person said it's been not working for a long time. Can we hold hotels liable if they list their hotel and amenities as wheelchair accessible and handicap accessible if their items are not working and they have no such room available so you don't have to deal with what I had to go through. It was one of the worst experiences. The beds you can feel the springs when you sit and lay down. Not very comfortable at all. The breakfast was cold, the muffins were hard you couldn't bite into them. The closing manager idk if he was scared or what but he had the doors locked before 9pm for guests to walk in. He was really rude and would come in the pool room and slam the door shut.

Not Pleased

I was told I had an accessible room. Which in my opinion it was not. It had a grab handle outside the shower door in a spot that really served no purpose. The restroom was not accessible if I was in a wheel chair or even used a walker. I'm a below knee amputee and pack accordingly and bring my own shower stool. But the shower was not set up with soap and shampoo shelf that was accessible. It was behind me as I was facing the shower head, which had no pressure. One other thing. I don't think that it is a good practice to charge someone for incidentals prior to knowing if it will be required. I WAS CHARGED $25.00 at check in and was told that it could take up to 5 working days to be put back in my account. NOT ACCEPTIBLE!

Nice bed and room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. After a day outside in 98-degree weather, we were looking forward to a nice swim in your pool. However, the air conditioner was not working in the pool area, and the pool room was overwhelming HOT!!
