It was confusing at first as I had not received the check in email and there is no front desk but very responsive when I called. The room and bed were very comfortable. Street noise but ear pluges provided was a nice touch. Great stay all in all.

Excelente opcion

El hotel está ubicado en la zona de las universidades por lo que lo hace excelente, siempre hay gente y es seguro, cerca del subte y hay muchas opciones para comer. Es pequeña la habitación pero suficiente para lo poco que paramos. Sin dudas volvería a elegirlo porque se adaptó a mi presupuesto.

Hotel sin recepción ni ascensor

No me gustó esta idea de hotel, sin recepción. Habíamos solicitado un early check-in un día antes, fue aceptado, pero antes de llegar no me habían mandado la clave/código para acceder al hotel y a mi habitación, tuve que llamar por teléfono. Tampoco le agradó la forma en que te piden hacer el check out, no puedes excederte ni un minuto de la hora, de otra forma te hacen cargos a tu tarjeta. El hotel no tiene elevador, lo cual representa una molestia para mi pues tuve que cargar mi maleta 4 pisos, la opción era pagar un cargo para que nos dieran una en pisos inferiores, tampoco era una opción buena para mu. La habitación estaba limpia.

Barulho infernal banheiro minúsculo bem localizado

Lugar muito barulhento, banheiro muito pequeno, cortina do banheiro não bloqueava a água, todos os banhos deixavam o banheiro encharcado, e não havia como enxugar. Meu marido escorregou, quase se machucou. A localização é boa, pensando em NY, o custo foi mais acessível.

Hesitant but turned out great

I was hesitant about staying at a "no staff" hotel but it turned out there were minimal problems. I booked the early option ($30) but had to call to get the necessary codes for my Noon early checkin. Other than that, there were no problems. The staff (on the phone) were very nice. I entered the hotel off of 9th Street and it seemed a little questionable on the outside, but inside, everything was fine. My room on the 3rd floor was one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in during my many travels. There was a kitchenette with stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and dishes. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay here again. The only other issue is that they cannot store luggage - you have to take it to the Chelsea Pines Hotel, which is further away.

Great location, comfortable stay

Really enjoyed our stay here! Simple and small (like most rooms in NY) but had everything we needed and was in an amazing location. Bed might be a bit tight for two people but it’s comfy. The little kitchenette is a nice touch. Surprisingly super quiet for being right in the middle of the East Village as well. It’s a walk up with no elevator but if you don’t mind that, it’s a great place to be.

The experience was good for this price. The room is clean and has a kitchen. It is close to buses (M8), stores and restaurants. The cleaning ladies were nice and helpful. You have to finish online precheck in to get in, there is no front desk. The small lobby was hot, seems air conditioner was off. The room was noisy, from both air conditioner and the outside, however they provided earplugs which are helpful to me. The front door seems not always locked even it was late, which made us feel not that safe. The hotel has no elevators, could be hard if you get a high floor and have a big luggage.

Everything about it was wonderful! Staff was communicative and always available. Only complaint is I wish it had an elevator. But otherwise, it was totally worth it, and I would absolutely stay again!
