Hostel Plus was a great place to stay for our two nights in Florence. The staff were extremely helpful at both check-in and check-out, the facilities were excellent, and the room was comfortable—with a big bed that was perfect after long days of walking. The only downside was the location. The streets were quite noisy, and while everything was technically walkable, it did mean longer walks than expected. Overall, I would still highly recommend staying here.

Room was very clean, and the bed was very very comfortable. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning did not work, and the heating was on all the time so nights were unbearably hot and stuffy in the room, even with the window open. This was a real shame as we really did not sleep well. I asked reception about this and received a shrug in response. Only one pillow each, and we ran out of toilet roll on the third night as no spares were given. A kettle in the room would’ve been nice to be able to make a cup of tea as one cannot carry one all the way up from The common room, which is in a basement.
