交通方便
高地和尼斯湖玩了一天之后晚上入住很晚，晚上9点多出去距离不远就到了很热闹的一条街，购物餐饮好多店开到很晚。第二天晚上航班飞伦敦，早上CHECK-OUT之后把行李寄存好就去市区玩，等傍晚打车去机场，由于这店就爱丁堡市区在去机场的路上，所以经过拿行李相当便利，不增加打车费用。有一个缺陷是厨房放不下餐桌，房间里也没有桌子，所以在里面吃东西要站着。

Comfortable and clean
The location is very convenient. It's about 15 minutes walk to the Princes Street. Room are spacious and clean with all the kitchenware you need. Nice and very helpful staff. But thing is there's no lift so you have to carry your heavy baggage to your room. And the room lock seems not working too well.

Très bon séjour à Édimbourg, l'hôtel est bien situé, a côté de Dean Village et du tram. L'accueil y est chaleureux. Nous avions une chambre simple, avec une cuisine. Pratique pour son petit déjeuner.

Weekend resa med en vän, övergripande bra hotell som ligger nära till mataffär, spårvagn, buss, flygplats och alla stora sevärdheter som Edinburgh har att utforska. Det ända som var lite på det tråkiga sidan är att vattenpumpen låter högt när man har igång vattnet. Lite tråkig inredning i hotellrummet.

The property is fairly close to bus and tram transportation. It's 2 block walk to the main road that connects directly to Princes street. My main complaint is there is only once accessible outlet in the bedroom. There are outlets you can use in the kitchen which we did. No outlet other than for a shaver connection (not a standard outlet) in the bathroom. Had to use the one outlet available in the bedroom to use the hair dryer (or use the kitchen outlet). With 4 adults and phones, iPad, portable chargers to re-charge, that was an inconvenience. There is no option to purchase any water or snacks in hotel. We were placed on the first floor which was super convenient given our heavy luggage. I don't think there is a lift.

Honestly one of the worst stays I’ve had in a hotel. We initially went to drop off our bags but couldn’t be checked in yet as we were slightly early so we said no problem can we leave our bags and then check in later on and that was fine with the receptionist. Later when returning nobody was at the desk to let us in so we waited, rang both numbers available and buzzed for about 25 minutes, then someone coming in kindly let us in so we got in and waited another 5 minutes until we saw our key in an envelope with our name and room number on so we got it and went upstairs. 20 minutes later we got a call back from reception so we explained and was told “I was only away from the desk for 10 minutes” which was just clearly untrue and my call log can show otherwise. So we basically just said we have checked in now so it’s done and ended the rather passive aggressive call from the receptionist. Everything in the room looked as if it was found on Facebook marketplace secondhand or something. The shower was like a trickle down your back and the temperature was a choice of either scalding, tepid or freezing, the tap in the kitchenette only had warm water and the rest of the room was just incredibly strange. There was even a random ottoman for some strange reason. We never saw a soul at the desk after that first encounter and the only positive I could possibly saw is that it wasn’t disgustingly dirty and it had a lot of plug sockets. Overall I’m really unhappy with this stay.

Leider war die Unterkunft besser beschrieben als sie in Wirklichkeit war. Dir Ausstattung sah schon ein wenig herunter gekommen aus, der Wasserhahn im Bad war sehr locker und manchmal hat es ewig gedauert bis Wasser kam. Die linke Tür der Dusche ging immer wieder auf, Messer in der Küche waren noch dreckig und alles im allen sah die Unterkunft auf den Bildern besser aus als in echt. Die Lage ist aber unschlagbar und ein guter Ausgangspunkt um schnell zu den Hauptattraktionen zu kommen.

We had difficulty getting into the property even though we had advised them of late arrival. They sent an email through Expedia explaining how to get in which Palmerston showed me, but I still haven’t received! We did love the neighborhood and the 75 steps up to our room were invigorating!!
