We have stayed several times at the Zenitude.
What we like the most is the restaurant, The manager does an incredible job even under pressure, the food is well prepared and there is a very decent wine list.
The guestroom are comfortable and pleasant and there is a parking.
...YES BUT!
It seems that we always had a problem at check in.
No smiles, NEVER. No welcome to Zenitude - we hope you had a good trip... what is expected from a 5 star hotel... even from a 2 stars!
The female staff at the beginning of the desk had a long face and was not looking up to greet me. SO I had to do it: "Bonsoir"
As she could not avoid me she only said in a terse tone "You have a reservation? I approved "Go over there" pointing to the end of the counter. And she went back to her computer. The second clerk also a female made sure to hide behind her computer (to be sure I wouldn't bother her?)
So I walked to the end of the counter as instructed where the Ass't front office manager and the night auditor (?) where. Despite the fact that I was not in a good mood after the treatment I got, they were both very affable, personable and responded well to my problem.
Why a 4 star hotel keep staff like that? By the way this is not the first time that the female staff at the Front Desk were border impolite at check in.
My check out was good.
