Plenty of space to park, very quiet, no hassle checking in/out. Communication was great and the staff we spoke to were very polite and happy to help with any inquiries. The only slight issue (which isnt really an issue) is the bathroom light was on a sensor, id prefer a switch so i can decide whether to have the light on or not.

A little underwhelmed

Didn’t realise we weren’t getting a hot tub until we arrived, probably should have been made clear. The listing shows a photo of the hot tub in the middle of the site which I assume we could have used if we wanted, but getting to it is not particularly private. Only some of the rooms have private hot tubs, ours didn’t. Room very small, and didn’t sleep well, woke up with back ache.

Quirky but nice.

Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals.

First off the owners when contacted were lovely. The place itself could be beautiful but does look slightly run down. The room the granary was gorgeous inside with no issues. The outside "private" hot tub area looked a little worse for wear. Fence leaning over, looked like it needed a lot of TLC and is not private at all. Not inclosed, could see people walking past where it looks like a gate was needed and there was metal stairs going upstairs which we wernt sure where they went. The hot tub jets were also not powerful at all but was hot for arrival. Overall a nice stay but dont think we would return

Party capital

Hosts decided to have a party. They said we were invited, so said hello as not to be rude, but music didn’t finish till, 01.30. People didn’t leave till 2.00. Then family was up taking till 03.30. Only 30m away from our room. Had been to work that day and had been up since 6.00. Was hoping for a nice relaxed stay with hot tub. Hot tub was nice on the night. Decided to go in the hot tub again before we checked out, but it had gone cold showing error. Reception only open 3-7, and they choose not to answer the phone any time before or after, so pointless.
