First time stay, but I’ll be back.
Check-in very straightforward, lovely helpful staff. Room was freezing when I got in, but had warmed up in a couple of hours. Probably not a bad thing, as not heating an unoccupied room. Reasonable evening meal (I got there minutes before the kitchen closed) and good breakfast. Good value for money.

Comfortable, fairly spacious and warm. Plenty of tea and coffee. Asked for a quiet room and got one in an annexe. Room thermostat and windows. Didn't have any food so can't comment, but the menu looked good for both breakfast and evening meal and not expensive. Lots of parking. Wasnt difficult to find, but you really need a vehicle to get to it. Overall excellent value and a good sleep.

We stayed over for a party. Check in was efficient, room cleaned but heating was off so bloody freezing 😁. Went to the venue and a first for us to leave our coats on throughout the 4 hour stay. Doors open or no heating. Big room though. Breakfast next day was very filling and tasted great.

Excellent Value
Check was quick, straight forward and friendly. Room very spacious, spotlessly clean. Slept soundly on a very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom facilities with plenty of towels. Staff very attentive and friendly. Excellent value for money.

I'd recommend it
A prettily-presented hotel in a beautiful yet convenient location. Friendly service. To fully live up to the impression it creates, a little more attention to detail is needed. Nothing drastic, but some little things damaged the otherwise carefully curated image: - A gravel path from car park to rooms. Useless for wheeled suitcases. - A shower that drained so slowly I had to take several pauses for it to empty so as not to flood the bathroom (room 19 IIRC; sorry I forgot to report it at the time) - Hook on the rear of a cubicle door in the ladies' toilets near the restaurant. 1. It wasn't even a hook, it was a cleat. Using whatever is laying around isn't the right approach for what is otherwise a beautifully presented place. 2. It was attached by a single screw so was unusable because it would not stay the right way up! These aren't huge things, obviously. It's a credit to Lazaat in a way that I even mention them! Little cracks in an otherwise perfect surface!

Unsatisfactory
The heating was permanently stuck on, an engineer came out to turn it off but in returning to the room it was still on and our keys to cool the room with a fan were gobe to, this after a frends wedding took over an hour to resolve in the early hours and quite frankly completely unexcepable. Some of the bar staff were just rude, but there work 2 females would were helpful and nice returning glass with wedding favours attached. I am quite relaex but fould this service shocking so had to leave a review.

Absolutely terrible hotel. I booked this hotel in advance and paid in full for the entire weekend. I went myself to check in as I had booked this room for my sons as we had a family gathering this weekend in the area so it seemed perfect. This could not be further from the truth when my boys arrived they were told there was no booking and had no room for them. (Even though I’d been in person an hour earlier and was told the keys would be waiting for them behind the desk)! ) Then after humiliating them in the reception they miraculously found something and very sheepishly said they could offer them a back up room for the night and would be moved into another room the following day. It was all just a complete mess they were put in a room with a single bed so one of my sons checked into another hotel in the area as it was too much and no one was helping in anyway. There was no manager and the receptionist was not willing to give any name for any manager or anyone of any authority. She was extremely rude and aggressive and did not care less about how the boys were treated. Is all she said was put your complaint in writing and email us. Totally unprofessional on every level I would never recommend anyone stay here if that’s how they treat their customers.
