Good for the price.
Having a lot of hotel amenities was not important to us as we spend our time on excursions, etc, needing the hotel only for sleeping. Bluebeard is good for that. The walk to local restaurants and shopping is quite a journey, so you will either have to rent a car ( they drive on the left ) or taxi everywhere. Be careful of a few of the cab drivers up charging you. A mixed bag of good and not so good attitudes with the staff, which is what you will find throughout the island. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

Amenities, Rooms and access was very nice. Unfortunately they were few rude employees at the consierge front desk. This not only happened to me, they were other guesses complaining about mean treatment.

Very friendly
We were only there for one night due to a Spirit flight cancellation (surprise surprise). From the woman and check in to the bell hop and waiter at the restaurant, everyone was so kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and the grounds were so nice. I am very thankful this is the hotel we chose to stay in for the night.

Beautiful property, but overall a meh type of stay
The studio suites was a pretty poor area of the property. I felt that since we booked through a third party, that Bluebeards stuck us in a lower-tier area. Also the communication between Hotels.com and the property management is lacking. No message that I submitted through Hotels.com reached the front desk of the property. That part was very frustrating.

The place is awesome with beautiful views, big rooms, restaurant, pool, bar... The only issue I had was finding the place. Expedia directions took me to Blackbeard area (not Bluebeard).

The resort itself was very beautiful. The view from our suite was amazing. Some of the staff were rude and almost unapproachable. The resort sits on a very steep hill which allows you to see some of the island. The surrounding area is decent, some people starred and look suspiciously.

Shaun at the front desk started our weekend off with excellent customer service. Tevind was there to pick us up like VIP and take us to the front desk. Our view of the city and bay was amazing day and night. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Don’t hesitate this is a landmark site.

We were there in the off season, so not alot of activities, only real complaint was the womans pool bathroom was backed up multiple times and even after the bartender called maintenance they didn’t come for the few hours we were out at the bar.
