There's a construction near the hotel, but it would be very quiet if you're not facing the construction. Seems like the hotel has a good soundproof.

Great location, modern and practical

Modern and really well located hotel in a leafy lifestyle area. The room was well designed and had everything I needed for my 2-night stay. Service was a bit mixed but fine. I’m deducting one star because of the swimming cap requirement (and none to borrow, just buy) and some maintenance issue (water drip from ceiling). Otherwise very decent hotel.

The bathroom could use a good cleaning, but the room was OK overall. A couple of times, the staff forgot to restock the mini-bar or the free waters, but it was a good hotel overall.

Front desk lady Karen Lu was very helpful as we need to call a cab to PVG . It was less than RMB$182 so I gave him $200RMB and that’s what the lady at the front desk told me. The trip was 1.30 hour from hotel to airport. Had a wonderful time at Shanghai Tower in the evening, Yu Garden the first day.

Var i Shanghai som turist och bodde här tre nätter. Perfekt läge, nära till restauranger och shopping. Tunnelbanan låg inom ca 10 minuters promenadavstånd. Fick ett rymligt rum med stor, skön säng. Fräscht och nyrenoverat badrum. Fanns tillgång till Gym, SPA och bassäng, använde bara den senare, vilken var helt ok. Personalen i receptionen var överlag trevliga, men behärskade inte engelska så bra. Luktade rök i korridoren emellanåt. Ingen frukost tillgänglig, vilket var ett minus.

Well placed but very tired.

DH is in a great part of Shanghai.Lively and can be nosey but close to good transport links and the delightful French quarter.If you are on business take care-very poor Wi-fi.

Great location in the French Concession.

Hotel is old and not a destination if you want to be entertained inside its precinct, but its so well placed for access to transport and walking trips to well known destinations ie Huaihai Road. Understands an meets travellers needs - late checkout for example can be arranged beyond normal 12pm normal time.
