Slept well
We had to change our booking - a long story but Sally at front desk was helpful in making sure everything was sorted. It's a shame we had to check out a day earlier than planned as our first night there was excellent - I slept brilliantly. If they could offer more dog friendly rooms, we could have stayed a second night.

Great room, clean and tidy
We stayed in room 30, really nice room on the second floor. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The only thing that let it down was the bed. Every time you moved, it creaked quite loud. Unfortunately we had little sleep because of it which affected our plans for the next day

Couples Christmas break
We upgraded to a superior room this room was stunning with perfect views. My only complaint would be the wondows are so drafty. Yes there are lovely heavy drapes which do the job. With such wonderful views you dont want to shut them out. I understand the wondows cant be changed but like ive said on previous stays put shutters or some sort of cover over them which can be opened or taken dwn when the weather is better 🌞

I had a superior room and I was very pleased. The room was massive, the bed was comfy and the bath was lovely too. I had a Sunday roast in the restaurant too and that was delicious. Breakfast was great too. I felt very relaxed and wish I could have stayed for longer!

The property is in a beautiful position overlooking the river Wye. The menu caters for a variety of needs. We didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was plentiful. It is a very short walk into town and a short drive from beautiful places such as Symonds Yat. Will return.
