The reason for my poor review were a combination of a few things. First and foremost, my room was clean, and it was obvious they had made a significant upgrade or renovation. However, the hallway had a very bad smell due to lack of ventilation and the very dirty carpet that obviously requires shampooing. Their amenities were also poor. The gym was not functioning and pool looked old. Lastly, on Sunday my last day of check-out, the breakfast was horrible. The waffle machine broke down, the heated tray for the bacon and egg was also down. They did not seem to bother to explain to the guests. When I asked for new towels, the employee at the desk asked me to go look for the housekeeper on the floor to get some. he didn't seem bothered that it was his duty to help me out. All these bad customer service flaws just marred my beautiful stay.
