Please note they take a break everyday from 3:00pm - 6:30pm. We arrived at 1:30pm to check in, and was told that the room will only be available at 2:00pm. We then decided to leave our luggages, take a walk and come back in the evening. To be sure, we double checked with the receptionist if we can pick up the key in the evening - and she said yes! We returned at 6:00pm and realized there was no one at the reception. We stood and waited outside until another staff arrived at around 6:40pm. It will be great if the staff can inform us about the break at the first place…and apparently, no one pick up the phone or doorbell during the break, though they stick a note asking you to ring the doorbell if you need any help.

Not a single chair to sit in. Tiny shower with no door. I understand this is common in Europe but here there in just no way to keep the entire bathroom floor from getting 100% soaked.

Great position and staff
Amazing position just a few steps away from Piazza della Signoria. Staff friendly and always happy to help. To keep the room warm it was required to keep the A/C on for the whole night, but it was really noisy. Breakfast included,but I was expecting more quality from a 4 stars hotel. The breakfast room was tiny and despite of a slot was provided several times a table was not available.

Location location location
This is a simple hotel , nice breakfast , eco friendly. They make it feel like home. The reception is warm, the people are friendly but above all , the location is exactly where you want to be . Everything you could possibly want is steps away .

Comfortable and convenient
Very centric and close to everything - super practical in terms of places to go and accessible. The main issues were around the quietness of the room, it was next to a patio and there was a lot of noise at night which made it difficult to sleep during the stay. The breakfast is limited but always good to have as an option

excellent location but be aware in the historic center getting and taking a taxi to the airport you need to plan extra time due to narrow streets and lots of tourists. Only negative about the stay which is standard at all European hotels at this price point are hard mattresses and flat pillows - but that is typical. Breakfast was simple but did the job. Staff was incredibly helpful and happy.

Receptionist was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Room was tiny, tired, tatty and very basic. You open the door and are faced immediately with a wall and small gap to negotiate around through with your case to where the beds are. Towels were clean but clearly very old and tatty. All in one shower gel/ shampoo container was dirty. Got 2 slivers of soap and that was it . Having a shower means a large part of the floor is soaked so be careful not to slip. TV was broken but I fixed that as part of my services to the hotel owner. Air con was noisy but effective, with 1 window relatively high up that to let in light could either be fully opened or closed, no half way position. No pictures or anything to brighten up a very bland room. All of the walls were badly marked and desperately needed painting. Location is very central which was ideal and the sole reason for booking. Skipped breakfast as the area (reception & breakfast seating is all in the one area) was full to the brim and looked chaotic & stressful. I would never have rated this as a 4 star hotel. I've seen other sites rate it at 3 which felt generous. Receptionist lady is brilliant. No real noise issues at night. It is 10m down what is effectively a back ally which as a lone female traveller could feel intimidating when the restaurant staff have cigarette breaks at the back are staring at you.

this is the worst hotel. It does not reserve 4 starts. The description on your website is misleading. There is no service staff. And is dangerous. I fell when I entered the room because there is a step down when you first open the door and is not marked. My elbow was bleeding from the fall and my wife was historical when she saw on the floor. We only stayed one night. I will be disputing the charges
