Worn and outdated
This property seems quite old and badly in need of an upgrade. Wifi was constantly dropping. Bathroom cramped and outdated. Room was clean and desk staff was helpful. The only property of the nine at which we stayed on this trip to Sicily, all in a similar price range, where breakfast wasn't included, and it didn't appear worth the modest additional charge. We tried several options for parking, and ended up in a municipal lot; the property had no options to offer. Not a terrible experience but there must be better places in Palermo.

Sehr freundlich, zentral. Hohe Räume, karg, funktional. Altes Badezimmer, funktioniert alles. Personal ist überall sehr hilfreich und kompetent. Als Hotel für Ausflüge nach Palermo sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt geeignet.

Hotel del Centro was our first stop in Italy after a very long flight from Australia. Checkin was somewhat confusing as the apartments are situated within a building with other businesses / occupancies. Once located (level 4 from memory), the reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Although you could get a lift to the reception, you then had to walk 2 flights of steep stairs to your room. The room was fairly spacious for 3 adults but not very modern. Bathroom was presentable and beds were reasonably comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance of the old town near the port where there were many options available for dining. Parking was an issue as there is very limited and unsecured on street parking, but we eventually found a secured parking area within walking distance for $25EUR for the night. Yes expensive! Paid breakfast was available but we had to leave early next morning so we didn't opt for that. For an overnight stay, our overall experience was good. With more research, we may have found something more convenient an inexpensive.

Worn and noisy
The Hotel is more old and worn than the pictures says. Definately ready for a renovation. Walls were stained and the furniture dusty. A strange smell when I came into the room. It is a hassle with the AC, as you need to call the reception to make them turn it on or off- no possibility to adjust the temperature. It is also very noisy from the traffic from the busy Via Roma during the night, I even woke up from the garbage collecting crushing glass bottles for at least 30 mins at 1am in the night.

Quaint hotel.
It is a very well kept quaint hotel. You could say it's vintage. The front desk service was outstanding. The room is large enough and the bathroom was okay. I wished it had a kettle for tea or a refrigerator, but to no avail.

Godt ophold på 2 nætter på familieværelse. Badeværelset virkede lidt slidt, men var rent og dækkede behovet. Dog svært at få koldt vand. Brusenichen var meget lille pga foldevægge. Ekstra sengene var fine. Dobbeltsengen til den hårde side. Selve værelset var rent. Vi havde balkon mod gaden og aircondition på værelset Morgenmaden var enkel typisk italiensk med brød, ost og skinke, cornflakes, youghurt mm og en række søde kager. Personalet var sødt og meget hjælpsomt. Bl.a. fik vi hjælp til ztl-zone, forslag til parkering og restaurant. Vi valgte at parkere på den offentlige betalingsparkering ved centralstationen. Vi ankom fredag ca kl 18 og kørte søndag ca kl 11. Samlet pris for parkering 39 euro. Forbedringsforslag: Flere stikkontakter på værelset Større brusekabine Køleskab på værelse Safetybox på værelset.

After reading reviews I guess I expected more from this hotel. The rooms were ok. The rooms were very warm as they turn the air off when you leave every time because you have to give them your room key. Being it was July we would look fwd to going back to a cool room and it was hot. I know Italy isn’t big on Ac but all our other hotels had great AC
