Okay but not great
Beautiful property. Friendly and attentive staff - especially Ricardo, Juan and Nanle. The beach is clean and plenty of chairs on all of the days we were there. The only drawback for us was the food. With all the choices there was, the food was disappointingly bland and tasteless. We went off the resort and found delicious local cuisine in Puerto Morelos (for a fraction of the cost!) Also if I am in Mexico it would be great to at least hear some regional music being played instead of constant American bandstand.

Hotel is very good staff are very slow but worse of all they are thiefs they will try and charge you for anything and very rude when it comes to sorting anything out, on check out they had my band and siad they haven’t and tried to charge me £150 after an hour of up and downs one of the staff found it behind the counter the staff was very rude and wouldn’t do anything to help terrible lobby service

Our stay at Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun was amazing! The service was excellent. All members of staff were great specially Luz Adriana from guest services who helped us before and during our stay. She was incredible! She made sure that we had everything we needed. Big THANK YOU to her. We will definitely come back, my family loved it! There are a very good choices for food and good quality.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Krystal from Expedia (representative), she’s actually fixed all of our problems. She went above and beyond to help us. First day did not go very well, we called the front desk 40 times and promised roll away bed for my son but they kept saying yes and it was ignored and at one point I think they blocked our room number! lol So he ended up sleeping on the sofa with his other sibling.

Poor food quality.
My wife and I were celebrating our 6 year anniversary here. We got food poisoning on our last day at the hibachi restaurant. The restaurant staff at all the restaurants we dined at had a bad attitude. As someone who has been to many great all inclusive resorts, it felt like the food and service quality was lacking everywhere we went. Overall, the hotel is very big and nice and offers great amenities for families to enjoy. Special shoutout to Krystel who was our Expedia concierge. She seemed to be the only person who wanted to help us during our stay.

After looking at my bill, the night before check out, All of the charges were correct, but somehow after I returned home, I have nine hundred dollars in fraudulent charges from the hotel on my bill. I was not impressed by the so called diamond club.I didn't find that the services were worth any extra charges for the rooms. The food is not very good and the drinks are watered down. My Feedback for this hotel is that they Should require that their employees who work with the hotel guests speak better english. The hotel itself is very nice and has all of the amenities for a resort, but I recommend you get an itemized bill for everything you charge or pay cash.

So-so
Overall is was nice, not sure it was worth the cost though. Food was terrible and lines were long. Check in process took a long time. We were given a 600$ resort credit which was basically a coupon book that had too many restrictions and made it hard to use. Alcohol was very watered down. Staff was excellent. Resort was clean. Reservations were needed for everything even the kids activities.
This was the ‘ham’ on my sandwich, which I’m pretty sure is just a sliced hotdog

Holtel nuevo sin agua caliente
al segundo dia de mi estancia el hotel se quedo sin agua caliente o al menos el edificio donde estaba mi habitacion y nunca me pudieron cambiar de cuarto y duarante dos dias no pude bañar a mi hija. y lo unico que decian es lo siento.

We loved the royalton splash! We went for a wedding which was also coordinated flawlessly! The food choices were good and the rooms were cleaned spotless every day :) The resort grounds were clean and the staff were so so so helpful! Shout out to Jonathon at the Expedia desk and shout out to Alfonso at the bar :)

Royalton Splash is a good resort, with great facilities and staff. Our butlers Jorman and Gonzalo were Excellent. The only negatives are the facility is becoming a bit dated and the loyalty program push is unrelenting.

Krystal Pohlenz was our point of contact for this trip. She treated us like family and took really good care. She made sure we were comfortable and made reservations and suggestions that were perfect for our family. I would rate her a 11/10 an extra point for her kind interactions. The other staff and people at the property were okay. Not sure if language was a barrier but because it is a huge property a lot of things are slow. Sometimes the orders never came on time and overall i would rate it a 9/10.

I feel like this property is way overpriced . Lazy river wasn’t working, any indoor fun for the kids weren’t included and was super expensive, front dent wasn’t friendly or helpful, however Jon checked in with us daily and was absolutely amazing.
