Beautiful off the beaten path stay!
We loved our stay! Recommend staying here to experience Iceland off the beaten path. You can have dinner here. Breakfast is included. Enjoy the tub outside! Very stunning views.

Cette chambre est un tue l’amour
Les deux lits qui en fait un c’est un tue l’amour. Il y a pas de pont d’amour Le restaurant est bon mais les portions sont petites. Notre purée était trop salée. Tout est fait avec des produits frais et du coin. La route est très caillouteuse. Nous avons pu charger notre voiture gratuitement. La vue est magnifique depuis le hot tub. Si vous avez le choix prenez les chambres paires qui ont une plus belle vue mais plus chères.

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. The dinner and breakfast were great, the rooms are a nice size and the property has a heated tub where you can look out at the valley. When we booked this hotel I read the reviews and noticed that several mentioned you have to take a dirt road to get here. Prior to the trip I did not think this was a big concern - note that this hotel is 30km off of the ring road coming from the counter clock wise direction. This was a one night stop for us and while the hotel was lovely it was very much out of the way. The only thing there is the hotel. If you want dinner, you will need to eat it at the hotel or bring something. (The dinner is great). I don't think this is a great overnight stop based on how out of the way it is - if you are looking to relax in nature for a few nights it is a lovely stop.

Ok, let's just acknowledge right upfront this hotel is a little bit off the beaten path! But the htel is new (opened 2022, I believe), clean, well appointed, comfortable. and quiet And the staff is wonderful.

Praktískt en óspennandi
Ágætis gististaður ef það eru einu kröfurnar. Hreint og fínt herbergi. En ekki mikið lagt í upplifunina, meira bara það gert sem nauðsynlega þarf, svolítið sálarlaust og vantar þetta sem lætur manni líða eins og maður sé í fríi að njóta. Sérlega óspennandi morgumatur og vont kaffi. Matseðillinn á veitingastaðnum einnig mjög óspennandi sem er mjög óheppilegt því þetta er nokkuð afskekkt og ekkert annað í boði nema í klukkutíma fjarlægð. Potturinn sem virkar flottur á myndum er ekki kósý, enginn aðstaða til að leggja frá sér handklæði eða skjól í kring.
