We stayed at the Walter Spies room and it was amazing!!! We added the rose petals in our bathtub which is extremely romantic! The private pool is great, the service was wonderful, and the Thursday dance performance dinner and cooking class (must do the traditional market shopping) was fun fun fun!!! Spa service was very relaxing, breakfast and afternoon tea is very nice too! Hotels location is 45-90 mins away from the airport depends on the traffic, this area is more like a tourist area with tons of foreigners and restaurants/bars. We were prepared to see how loud the music is from our room after saw the online reviews, but surprisingly, we didn't hear anything!!! :) This was a great and very pleasant experience, me and my husband loved it!

酒店網頁誤導可玩浮潛，因只得沖浪， 太過偏僻，而且沒有的士，只得酒店車，車費又貴！
我選擇了最貴的單層villa 帶泳池，可惜泳池細，雖然房間千多尺大，但蜘蛛網多，好像荒廢多時，還有些霉氣味，也很殘舊。地板也多灰塵，如不着鞋，腳板底就會灰黑，太失望了。當初選擇它，只因近沙灘，可浮潛，離機場只有十多千米，但誰知只有沖浪，什麼其他海上活動都沒有。雖然去購物中心只得十多千米，但沿路必經道路很窄車多，去那裡都會塞車，基本需時卅分鐘或以上，而網上又提及雖偏僻，但去購物中心或附近玩，酒店都可免費車去，但都是騙人的，是要付印尼盾120,000(即港幣七十多元) 我們真是選錯了！！！

This property is pure magic for those who want to experience true Balinese architecture, art and the most helpful and incredible staff imaginable! They cater to your every desire with kindness and a smile! The location of the property is fantastic…steps from restaurants, shopping and the beach! This hotel property is nothing like you’ve ever seen! It’s like Heaven on Earth - truly the most amazing place - especially on the pool grounds! Service, food, drink and rooms top notch too. Do try! I promise you will be obsessed with the escape and attention to detail and nature honored. We did white water rafting nearby and that was a great coordinating activity!

Hotel Tugu was an amazing introduction to our stay in Bali. The room with both the private pool and outdoor shower were serene. Traditional Bali artwork took you back in time. Staff was welcoming and charming. This hotel was a world away amidst the bustling part of Canggu.

This is a fabulous’old style’ hotel spread over several acres. Nice pool area and the lobby is gorgeous in itself. The bathrooms have to be seen to be believed. A must do is dinner on the roof overlooking the sunset

Great hotel with super nice staff
Great hotel and wonderful staff. This is not a hotel in modern style but more of classic Bali historic decor and setting. The staff is wonderful and the food great. There is some catch up to do with maintenance after the Covid-years but that is expected for all places where there have been lockdowns. Some wear and tear to fix and for example the mattresses at the pool need to be changed. I give all hotels in these places about 12-15 months to catch up. The hotel is located near the beach and the beach bars. It´s noisy with music playing but they normally stop around midnight so I was not bothered for my sleep. The breakfast is á la cart which is in one way nice and sustainable but I missed to have a buffet to linger around and pick from. But the food you can choose from is very nice and tasty. The SPA is also very nice and give great massages. The speed of the Wifi was merely ok, would have appreciated faster speed. The Japanese restaurant was great, tasty food but it happened that the main come before the starter. Many nice restaurants in the area. This hotel's biggest asset is the staff. They are very service minded, nice, remember your name and room, always a smile on their faces. A hotel I warmly recommend.

Tout est parfait 👌 dans ce magnifique hôtel....sauf un truc incroyable....il n'y a pas d 'escalier ni d échelle pour entrer dans la piscine qui est exceptionnelle d ailleurs, c 'est vraiment dommage. Car n ayant plus 20 ans ...... Sinon rien à critiquer.
