Lovely location and great staff

Lovely location on the beach with restaurant and bar. The bar staff are fabulous. A good spot to watch the sunsets. Breakfast was ok, but could be better. Dinners and the Island Night were great. The villas are well equipped, clean and spacious, but there were a few minor maintenance issues (our gate didn’t shut properly and the pool filter wasn't working) Our villa (29) was at the back of the complex near the car park, where the majority of the roosters were. They didn’t wait until dawn to crow and were loud all night, particularly from 3am. We tried ear plugs, but to no avail. I would probably stay again, but would request a villa closer to the beach.

I booked the courtyard villa with private pool, because it was something I wanted. The pool was excellent, and the room immaculate. However, I requested twin beds, hoping that it would be a double bed each, but they were single beds. I requested for double or queen size, but was told that it was all they had and that the settee in the room could be converted into a bed. The villa was great, spacious and clean. However, the lounges were not wiped down and were old. We did not use them. The cleaners did not leave us clean towels and did not really clean the room. We had to ask for new towels, and sometimes that was all that we required. They did make our beds but I note they did not change our sheets during our 6 days of stay. One of the staff was quite rude and I reported this to the reception staff. When you spend so much for a villa such as the one I stayed at, staff should be courteous and mind who they are talking to. It was obvious that this staff was not courteous at all. I simply asked if they were responsible for cleaning the courtyard, which they turned around and said "Do you want to clean it" - that was the first time I had ever encountered rudeness from resort staff, ever After that incident, I was not impressed and to be honest, I would not recommend to any of my friends or family in the near future. While the receptionist Frances was lovely and very hospitable, I feel that the service staff was a big let down. Room service was good though.

It's very clear that the new owners are working on redeveloping the property and are doing a good job of this. We had a private courtyard room with a pool, which was what you would expect on a Pacific island. In general, the staff were lovely and helpful. We had an issue when our Credit card was charged, as when we booked. It was a payment at check-in. As it turned out, the resort had charged us the day before we arrived. We intended to use another card. We phoned the resort 3 weeks before our arrival to check that our understanding was correct.... It was. We spent the working days of our trip trying to obtain a refund. Eventually, this happened, just not the full amount. We had to push for this to happen, after receiving confirmation from the GM that this would be the case, it transpired that it hadn't. We pushed again, and they finally credited our hotel account. I found this to be very disingenuous. As we checked out, we were completely ignored by the GM, but not by his wife.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crown Beach, the staff were exceptional. It is a small resort which I thought added to its value as well. A very easy place to just relax in, with a fantastic happy hour along the beach front. We were in a villa- they were very spacious and well laid out, felt like your own private space in paradise. An extra bonus I’d not come across with accommodation before is we checked out at 10am but could still use the facilities- we came back that afternoon and had a quick shower before our flight that evening and enjoyed happy hour, the sunset and dinner 1 last time. Something I thought was extra great too if you do the mud buggy’s is they have free washer and dryer on site. Several beautiful touches which elevated the accommodation. Highly recommend

This is my 4th stay here, i love the beach front position where i can sit on the beach and wander a few steps for an explore or snorkeling, then back to relaxing.

Staff were friendly but the property is in poor shape. Def not 4 ir 5 star worthy. Badic amenities where not functioning like phone, TV, internet router. Resort looks pretty tired anf unpleasant and unclean.

I loved that we each had our own pool and outdoor area to sit although some of our outdoor pergolas were very low and difficult to stand and sit under. Asenna and the bar/dining staff were so friendly as were the cleaning staff and maintenance team. Beautiful sunsets, cheap cocktails, super friendly staff, cute kitty cats and dogs, great food and the nightly turn down service made for an exceptional holiday. We’ll be back!

Crown Beach Resort and Spa was everything I expected. Gave you that relaxing laid back feeling, with wonderful beach and glorious sunsets. Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Our accommodation was simply fantastic with plunge pool and private courtyard.

The villa interior itself was ok; however, the whole property snd resort was in desperate need of a make-over. Our villa pool area was disgusting for example, tiles needed a good jet wash. As was the main pool area. Loungers in our villa pool area were dirty and mouldy so we could not use them. We have never stayed in anywhere so grubby. Its not worthy of 4 star. Sadly, we were very disappointed as the photos on the website doesn't represent the reality at all. See photos in support of our comments.

Liked the beach front really nice private just need to get dogs cats and roosters out of the eating areas and around the place, it’s annoying when u step in dog poop and worse that ur at the airport having to clean it in the toilet not happy otherwise nice resort and rooms kept clean and stocked

Property was beautiful nice resort and beach front great for swimming and snorkeling private not very crowded and facilities great the only issue are the stray dogs, and cats in the resteraunts and wondering around the grounds and the roosters waking u up in the middle of the night and early am but other than that it’s been great stay would recommend the pool villas are lovely
