Very pleased with our stay
We were very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were large, comfortable, and very clean. We had a view of the park and a great veranda with chairs, so we could have some wine out there in the evenings.
The location is good, it is about a 5-minute walk to the National Archaeological Museum. It's right across the street from the Athen Green Park, so if you are in the mood for a stroll, its easy to access. Its about a 30 minute walk to the main tourist areas. There are a few shops and bakeries around for quick bites. Its not what I would call a beautiful area, but very practical.
A couple of things you should know.
1) The location that Google shows on the map is incorrect. Where Google Maps shows is actually in front of a torn-down building. You need to walk about 50 feet to the left. This terrified my in-laws, who thought our hotel had been destroyed or that we were scammed. Haha.
2) The pullout couch is unlike any design I have ever seen before. You lift from the top cushions, not the bottom section. We had to find a video on Google to show us.
3) The elevator is really small, even by European standards. This is only an issue if you have someone with mobility issues. We made it work, but just be aware.
4) They only give you the access code an hour before your check-in time. If you want to leave luggage, you can chat with the representative on WeChat and get the code for the luggage locker.
Overall, I highly recommend this apartment/hotel.
