The rooms were clean, bed comfortable and bathroom had been updated with nice showers, rain fall, wand, and coming straight out at you if you want. No lip on shower so no trip hazard to get in. Nice little balcony with pretty surroundings to sit outside, good sized small refrigerator, microwave, good sized desk, TV and another chair. Everything you need iron and ironing board along with hair dryer. Options of pools indoor or outdoor and even a splash pad for little ones. Restaurant and bar onsite however we didn’t eat here. Long hours for breakfast, normal hotel breakfast, nothing fantastic however enough choices. Biscuits were good but the gravy a little bland (could’ve been better with sausage added). Very big complex with meeting rooms also. Biggest downside was a bit hard to find, not a very big or brightly lit sign and parking lot was not real bright but motel is back in with a gate that closed and security person outside. Did not seem to be a bad part of town just seems more out of the way by itself. Nice and quiet but do wonder if you were on a side next to the pool if it would have been. A lot of echo with kids playing in the pool. Friendly, easy check in and out. Definitely a great place for families or anyone staying in Springfield. A sort of retro style, ocean theme that I enjoyed. Tropical plants in the center area with the pool and where breakfast was served next to the restaurant (we ate our breakfast at one of those tables as it is not open for breakfast)
