Good hotel

Good environment! Can see Inverness castle and the river right in front of us! The room is nice and well equipped! The breakfast was running out at 8:30am so we couldn’t get much. Not worth to buy breakfast if you get up after 8am.

Meget slidt hotel lige ved Inverness Castle

Meget slidt hotel som i den grad trænger til opgradering over alt. Modtagelsen var såsom så, en lidt ligeglad receptionist. Morgenmaden var til 3 stjerner. Ligger i centrum af byen. Ikke et sted jeg ville vælge igen, da jeg havde forventet mere til den pris på knap 1500 kr pr nat.

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Gleich am Fluss gelegen und zu Fuß in die Stadt nur 3 geh Minuten. Es ist ein altes Hotel mit Charme. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind alt und die Fenster lassen sich nicht richtig schließen. Auch im Badezimmer ist einiges veraltet. Man hat aus dem einen Wasserhahn extrem heißes Wasser und kann mit dem anderen nur schwer justieren. Die Betten hingegen sind gut und es war sauber.

We really enjoyed are stay. The hotel was clean are room was very spacious and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s right on the river in the city centre couldn’t ask for a better location.

The price is too high

First of all, I have no problems with old buildings. It has really a certain charme. My problem is, if important things like the shower head in the bath are not adjustable in the high, because it was broken and a very cheap solution. Don't understand why its not possible to install better quality. It also was not clean, found hairs everywhere in the bath and I really not searched for it. All in all, I can't recommend it, because the price is too high for what you get.

Not Good AT ALL

A run down hotel. The place just needs some money spent on it and I'm sure it could be a nicer place to stay. For instance their 'lounge' looks like something out of a post apocalyptic movie. Also there was little to no hot water available in our room. The manager on hand couldn't cope when I queried the issue, no anger from my part, just questions, and they got incredibly flustered...so I just left it. There were no other rooms available. For the price, really not a very nice experience.

Great bed, noisy bathroom

The bed and decor of the room were great and comfortable. The bathroom plumbing made a lot of noises and there was a small leak coming from the back enclosed area of the old toilet with chain. It had the charm of an old building but bathroom and carpet need updating.

Great location, little else too recommend

All three stars were for the location. The sheets didn't fit the bed so we ended up sleeping on bare mattress, it was understaffed, there was no option to reuse towels. The floor slants noticeably.
