Good neighbourhood.
Rooms are big enough. Breakfast was great. The surrounding neighbourhood is nice and quiet but within reach to city centre. Highly recommended.

Dublin delight!
Fabulous. Special mention to Sanjeev who went above and beyond! Breakfast was amazing and because we were leaving at 6am the following morning they prepared us a delightful takeaway. I look forward to the chance to visit again soon

Qques points à améliorer
Séjour dans cet hôtel pour 2 nuits. Situé idéalement à 2 pas du stade. 35 mn à pied du centre mais facile à faire. Quartier très calme. L'hôtel est charmant, avec un salon accueillant pour passer un moment. Gâteaux et boisson fraîche ou chaude à volonté. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et chaleureux. L'hôtel est globalement propre. Le petit déjeuner est bien et copieux. Notre chambre, très jolie, mais manque de chauffage, il y faisait frais malgré le chauffage. La salle de bain, vraiment vieillotte, fraîche, les serviettes de toilettes pas très épaisses. Le tablier de la baignoire est même cassé, on voit que la salle de bain mérite une bonne rénovation. Pour le prix demandé et le standing qu'on y attend, ces deux points sont préjudiciables à une très bonne note. Dernière chose, la lumière du couloir reste allumée toute la nuit, et ce n'est pas une veilleuse ! Dommage pour l'environnement. Sinon, j'y reviendrai avec plaisir

Charming hotel with room for improvement
We recently stayed at Ariel House for a week with friends to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The hotel has a charming, quaint feel, with beautiful period decor that fits the setting, but there were several aspects that could definitely be improved. Starting with the positives, the hotel’s ambiance is cozy and quintessentially Irish, which initially set a warm and welcoming tone. The location is also convenient for exploring and within walking distance of the Aviva Stadium which makes it specially convenient for concert goers. However, we did find some areas lacking. The amenities are minimal for what we would consider a luxury stay. Some of the front desk staff were very accommodating, attentive and displayed great customer service. However, other staff members seemed less geared toward hospitality which led to a mixed experience towards attentiveness. Our room’s bathroom, especially the shower, could use some updating. Water was leaking onto the floor every time we used the shower, an inconvenience we noticed throughout our stay. Also, the bedding would benefit from a refresh to enhance comfort. Lastly, housekeeping not always replenished toiletries, which required us to follow up with the front desk at first. Overall, while Ariel House has a certain charm and a good location, it could benefit from more attentive customer service and updates to the rooms to bring it closer to luxury standards. It’s a nice option for a short stay if you value atmosphere over amenities.

Probably the cutest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was lovely, as was the room we stayed in. It is on a quiet, more residential street, but quite close to the Dublin Train, and a fairly short walk to city center as well. The breakfast was delicious. I’d love to come back!

Dublin can definitely be heaven and walking into town at 5pm on Friday, just as people were getting off work and walking into town too, reminded me of that. It's such a beautiful walk from Lansdowne Road into town and the road brings you to some of my favourite places in the city centre, Merrion Square, Nassau Street, Trinity College. Ariel House is an ideal place to stay in Dublin. To leave there in the morning, after a sumptuous breakfast, in a light-filled dining room, and return there for coffee or tea and cake in the drawing room, with time for a good browse of the Irish Times (generously provided by Ariel House), gives a sense of having a luxurious home from home. I think the ideal thing would be to have a midweek break in Ariel House, staying two or three nights, to enjoy the house, the area (Ballsbridge) and the people, both staff and guests, with whom there is plenty of opportunity to chat. From the staff: unstinting kindness, consideration, warmth, and friendliness. I'd like to see Ariel House in every season. Kudos to all! You do a great job! Thank you! And oh yes, the bedroom was perfect too!

Highly recommend!!
We enjoyed our stay at the Ariel House. It is very conveniently located next to the train station. We did not want to stay in the city center so this was a great location for our desires. The gourmet breakfast was as good as they said it would be, very very good. We loved the little atrium room breakfast was served in. The box breakfast was so nice to have on the way to our early flight. Very accommodating, the great room with snacks coffee and tea was a treat.

Wir waren für einen Kurzurlaub im Ariel House Hotel. Sehr angenehm war das zuvorkommende Personal, welches uns viel geholfen hat und Tipps parat hatte. Auch sehr schön war der Gemeinschaftsraum/Salon direkt am Eingang, wo man sich mit Kaffee, Wasser und Tee bedienen konnte und auf Vertrauen auch andere Drinks nehmen konnte und aufs Zimmer schreiben lassen konnte. Ebenso hat uns überzeugt, dass sie für uns immer eine glutenfreie Alternative zum normalen Frühstück geboten haben. Ein minus war allerdings, dass die Bettlaken und Handtücher nicht immer sauber waren und der Mülleimer im Bad offensichtlich nie richtig gesäubert wird und auch schweren Rost aufweist. Das wäre alles sehr leicht zu beheben und müsste nicht sein. Ebenso ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist, ist der Teppich im Zimmer, der dadurch, dass er sehr lang ist immer etwas zu staubig war, aber ich befürchte das muss man tolerieren. Alles in allem war es aber ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und bis auf ein paar wenige Kleinigkeiten kann man dieses Hotel durchaus weiter empfehlen!

A little gem.
A little gem close to the national stadium in Dublin. Described as a B&B but better than many 3* hotels I have stayed in. Good location for Aviva Stadium. Not too far from city centre. All staff very friendly and helpful.
