The room was fine, however, the bed sheets did not fit so they kept popping off all night. A king bed should have king sheets, not try to stretch queen sheets to fit ( that’s what it looked like,anyway). The rugs need to be shampooed as my white socks were pretty dark brown after just one short night of walking around the room.

The common areas of the hotel showed a little age. However the rooms were clean and looked recently remodeled. The beds were very comfortable. It was pretty quiet except for a couple of other travelers that insisted on letting their door slam while exiting/entering their rooms. Before 10 pm it was easy to overlook. After midnight and again starting again at 4:30 the next morning not ideal. Due to that, ended up only getting 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep Front desk wasn’t interested in talking with me in the morning when I checked out. I was told to “just throw keycards in the basket”. As far as the area around the hotel. One shouldn’t expect much. The hotel is in the middle of several truck stops. That’s not the hotels fault. You can only make that situation look so good

Sometimes the details matter
Quite Strong persistent smell of perfume in the room. Not sure why. The room was very cold and took time to warm up. The heating system seemed to be struggling. Trays supplied for the coffee machine do not fit the machine and had to be cut and adjusted with scissors. Ended up working somewhat however this should not happen.

So, the walls were either super thin or our neighbor had the tv cranked all night. Pillows need upgrading, bed was ok, the room was clean. It all went downhill when we were at breakfast and the front desk lady had her children with her. She was screaming at them at the top of her lungs, telling them she wasn't going to put up with their s*#@ and on and on. It was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen. Truthfully I felt she was on the cusp of having been reported to the authorities. The entire breakfast area was full and everyone was mortified. One women went to the breakfast attendant and was pretty much told it was what it was. Nuts.
