The Starbucks coffee machine was constantly broken, the elevators were too full and very slow, no room to sit for breakfast. Elevators should be separated between floors 1-20 then 21-45 for better organization. The skyview room has NO drawers and the tiniest closet.

Not the best, if you’re a family, skip.
This hotel was difficult to stay at. It included the normal NYC things like, narrow hallways and small rooms. The main issues were the elevators. There are 4, two sets that are not next to each other but function with the same up down button. So other people might go in the elevator you’ve been waiting 10 minutes for. When we went to leave on the last day, we clicked the elevator button 20 minutes below we had to be in the lobby to catch our ride. 3 elevators came, fully packed with people. We called the front desk for help and we were placed on hold. We ended up lugging 3 suitcases, a stroller and toddler down 8 flights of stairs. The doors getting into the building are weird too. You can either get in the small revolving door or go through these little mini hallways attached to the front of the normal doors. But the doors open on different sides so you get jammed in. Neither option is ideal for luggage or a family. If you are in a wheel chair or have accessibly needs, skip this hotel. Once you’re in the building there is a nonexistent lobby. The good things were the cleaning staff and we didn’t hear noise once in our room. Over all annoying and disappointing. Would not stay again. Photos are deceiving.

If you want to experience what it’s like to live in a Manhattan studio apartment then this is the place for you. It’s giving no frills though they do offer a pretty robust continental breakfast. Overall, good for the price for budget/price-conscious travelers

Nothing to complain about ; small rooms
Extremely noisy fan that I could not get to quiet down; next day it was fine. Hotel is overall well maintained and does what you need it to do. It’s tall And the elevator is a challenge during rush hour but it’s New York.

Overall Very Good Experience
The hotel is in a great location, staff was friendly and helpful. Elevators get quite jammed during busy hours, so you have to plan ahead. Rooms a little tight but I think that’s expected in most NYC properties as well as a steep price point. An overall very good experience either way.

Great Location, Roomy but Breakfast Chaos
The hotel has a fantastic location, making it ideal for exploring the area. While the room was smaller than expected, it was comfortable and featured a generously sized bed. Breakfast, however, was a chaotic experience due to the limited space in the dining area for such a large hotel. After our first attempt, we chose to take food to our room, and it wasn’t something we felt eager to wake up for again. The elevators were often busy, resulting in long waits, though being on the third floor allowed us to use the stairs easily. Noise was not an issue despite our room being at the front of the building. Overall, the hotel offers comfort and convenience, but better dining arrangements and elevator efficiency would improve the experience significantly.

Not great
Had to walk down 21 flights of stairs two days in a row because the elevators can’t handle the traffic. Waited 20 minutes before I finally gave up and took the stairs. Took a cold shower because there was no hot water in the morning during the morning rush. The free breakfast isn’t bad, but there’s not enough seating so there are people just standing around with plates of food and nowhere to sit. For what I paid for this room (NY in December) it was rather disappointing. Should have paid a bit more and avoided the issues.

Unfortunate hotel pick
Very disappointing stay. The staff is wonderful but the hotel does not use enough people to service all guests. We did not have hot water on any of the 3 mornings we stayed there. We told them about the first day, and it was fixed in about 30 minutes, second morning the same thing happened but we made do and told the hotel about it, they assured that they will take care of it, but on our third and last morning again no hot water, this time we could not overlook it as it was very cold. it took an hour to get it working, 3 visits from 2 engineers. Rooms are very small without any place to store belongings, like shelves or drawers, making it impossible to get room cleaned, since were living out of our bags. 4 elevators are not enough for the 40+ stories and getting out for the hotel in the morning was very difficult.
