Perfect. Property, architecture and interior design were beautiful and well thought out. Room was roomy with picturesque views. Staff was amazing. VAGA restaurant was delicious with more stunning views. The Coffee Box was a great spot for quick delicious breakfast. The Pocket served wonderful cocktails.

Nice Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very relaxing. We had a balcony room facing the ocean and it was nice to hear the waves at night. The overall experience was very nice and pleasant. The rooms were clean and the staff was very professional and friendly.

I had a really great experience. When I booked, it was a wedding, which kind of did not leave us access to certain areas in the property. Which was fine because everyone was very nice and friendly. We still got to enjoy the property or last day and it was a very different and I really enjoyed the room that I stayed in With the ocean view and it was beautiful. Very friendly people again very great customer service.

Outstanding location and property. Unfortunately, the service and staff continued to disappoint during our stay. Management needs to address the training of the staff at front desk and in the restaurant. A five star resort can't charge over $800 a night for just an oceanfront location. The service needs to be more polished and competent.

Okay where to start! I absolutely loved the staff in this resort. From front desk with Francisco and Ismael, to The Pocket staff, Scott, Dominic, and Brittany. To the guest experience staff Denise who took care of small hiccups during our stay. We are so grateful for your team! We loved the food, drinks, and desserts. The views were stunning! The pool and hot tub were clean and at great temperatures. Make sure to rent a complimentary E-bike, that was such a nice touch! Overall I would rate our stay 10/10! We will be back :).

Awful experience

From checking in after 4 pm while requesting a early check in for my husbands birthday I was told my room would be ready and was being finished up to only find out we sat around for 4 hours because we thought our room was almost ready indeed it was not even close” then we finally get checked in after 4 pm and we receive someone else’s luggage up to our room with none of our expensive luggage or belongings. THEN we order food only to have it take almost 2 hours and receive the most disgusting non editable food and hard short ribs! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had

The resort fee and daily parking fee is a little outrageous. There is no free parking and the only option is valet. There isn’t much in a walkable distance (food or shopping) so a vehicle is a must. There were a a few groups of twentysomethings also staying at the resort during our stay there. One group of girls were screaming on their balcony and when I turned to see what they were yelling about one of the girls flashed me. I had no desire to see a naked young female screaming on their balcony during my stay. It was also near the pool and a public walkway where children could have easily been present. The facility was otherwise beautiful and well maintained. Staff was very friendly as well.

The hotel is beautiful, the check in was a little disappointing especially for such a high end place. We got to the hotel about 20 minutes before check in time, so not super early and were told our room still wasn’t ready and that they would text us when it was. An hour later we were still waiting so we went back to the front desk to check and they apologized and said our room was ready. Having to wait well past check in time for a top notch resort was just a bit disappointing.

Beautiful convenient hotel but terrible incompetent staff from top to bottom. Front desk manager Amir was wrong and smug about it. Imagine being wrong and smug. Stuff like that will get your blood boiling. Voice complaint to operation manager Sydney and was promised a call back. Never received one. These people aren't qualified to service a motel 6 but yet here they are to ruin your vacation

Was extremely disappointed to arrive and NOT get the reservation I was promised (and paid for prior to our stay). I called the day before and the day of our reservation and was confirmed with two rooms ocean view with patio and fire pit and when we arrived - one room was moved to another level with balcony only, the other room was with a patio and no fire pit! One room was not ready for 2 hours and we were not given a discount, food vouchers and/or parking covered for our trouble. To continue, this was a surprise trip for my friends and when the rooms were not what I had paid for and not adjoining, I asked to speak to a manager who implied I was lying when I informed him I had contacted the property twice prior to arrival to confirm my reservation. It was the most expensive humiliating experience I have had and unfortunately this traveler (who visits south county more than twice per month) will NEVER be staying at this "resort."

Not too family-friendly but a beautiful resort!

We certainly enjoyed our stay. We brought our 2 children with us and had a great time but this is probably not the most family-friendly place. Extremely nice. Would be happy to stay again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Daughter trip

The place was amazing. However, the privacy on the fire pit area did not exist. They need to put some kind of barrier between the patios like bamboo stocks. The food in the restaurant was outstanding in the view was amazing. Would definitely come back. They should’ve had blankets already in the rooms for the patio area instead of have to call and get them delivered. Small touches add a lot.

Excellent property with a very nice pool that was relaxing to hang out during our whole stay. Really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach which was a really nice 5-10 minute walk down from the hotel.
