Horrible, we would ask for drinks at dinner and they would not bring to us, or if they did it was after we were done eating and about to leave. They would cater more to the white people. Food was not a good and other reviews say. But I do want to make sure that Don Rene gets a good review, he was very attentive when we needed drinks, and the Royal package is not worth it

This place will not help you.
I would not recommend this place, not because of bad service but because they couldn’t help me with a personal matter and lost more than $2k. I get you have rules but there should be exceptions for special circumstances. I tried multiple times through hotel.com but I dint not get any help. I love PV but will never go to this resort. Hope you enjoyed my free money.

GREAT food and great service throughout! Checking in was great, as I was complimentary given an ocean view room and extra perks for being a silver member on Expedia! Francis was very polite and provided great check in service. The rooms were a bit dated but were kept clean. The only issues I had with the rooms was the showers were inconsistently hot and cold. The biggest highlights of the stay was the excellent food and service, nightly entertainment, extra perks, and a beautiful beach. I would say that the only thing they can work on is providing more in room necessities, as we had to buy stuff from the mall during our stay. Highly recommend and would come back!

The food was amazing. Lots to choose from and the buffet was always fresh and new. Angel at the pool bar is amazing!! Rooms are aging but cleaning staff is superior! Only complaint is the noise of loud music always 10-6 at the pool and there is only one pool unless you pay extra for the Royale status. The beach was great, beach chairs aging, but you can still hear the bad music from there! No place for siestas! Wifi is exceptional

The restaurants and food and service was amazing. We had no options to eat by the pool and had to be covered to enter a restaurant. But We ate well and had a variety to choose from. The downside to the resort is no swim up bar or hot tub. Bars were limited after 7 pm. Very little shade. The spa was amazing. It’s an older resort and our room had a leak, but life happens and the staff was great to fix it right away. I liked their system for pool towels. Bathrooms were plenty and close by.

Floor around toilet had leaking water, phone didn’t work we were told to come down to front desk if we need anything because phone was not working. Maintenance didn’t fix it either. We requested help 7 times regarding this matter. Faucet sink was broken too. They moved us 2 days later and that was because I complained about how miserable we were being treated. This was a huge embarrassment no human being should be given a room that was this bad I wouldn’t have let my dogs stay in this dump. Once we moved to the other hotel that one was good. I’m disappointed at this hotel I enjoyed coming to visit this country but hotel wand service received horrible.

I liked the modern feel in the rooms & the cleanliness all aroundthe hotel. The only thing I would have liked is if the staff would be able to take you food & snacks to the pool & beach area. More pools & a swim up bar would be amazing!
