The hotel and hotel itself are great and worth of stay. The very poor review being left is for the restaurant. We were told by the front desk that reservations for restaurant are recommended as it get booked. Looking back, I wish I ignored them and just went into town. The hotel restaurant experience and food were just so poor and disappointing. The food is just fuss and just not worth the time and money. Service overall would have been fine, but the entrée we ordered were inedible. One dish was the pigeon dish which was hard and tasted off. The other entrée dish was the fish which came out cold. We sent both dishes back. The pigeon dish I had to replace with something more edible. We asked the fish dish to be warmed up but of course came back cold. The worst part of it, we are checking out, trying to leave as quickly as possible since the evening was a waste, one of the inexperienced staff members gave us a bill and tried to charge us for all the dishes including the one we had to send back and replace. He couldn’t understand why they shouldn’t replace charge us double. I just wanted to leave but my wife insisted that they fix the bill. The other experienced person had to intervene after seeing us and fixed it, but it was just poor hospitality. Not sure why but we went back for breakfast the next day since it was already paid for, and we could just stick to the buffet. Even though we did that, after the breakfast, we felt ill and got food poisoning.
