Palm sized holes towels, horrible breakfast, definitely get what you pay for. The pillows were the size of throw pillows. Unfriendly staff. Just in general- unclean.

Bedding was nice but bathroom pretty gross. We didn't use it, but my wife noticed hair and what appeared to be broken glass in the shower. There was something on the top of the toilet bowl that appeared to be dried blood. Room smelled of cigarettes, despite the fact that there were signs everything stating this was a non-smoking hotel and that anyone caught smoking would be fined $250 and evicted.

We were NOT informed about the boil water order. If friends staying at other hotels in Litchfield had not mentioned it, we would never have known. When we asked the person at the desk, his attitude was less than helpful. He offered to give us a CUP of water that had been boiled, but NO bottled water was offered. He seemed rather reluctant to give us any but did give us each a bottle.

Good in a pinch

This hotel is nice for a night. The bathrooms can use a little work. The bed was a little lumpy but the room itself was comfortable.

Disappointed

Deferred maintenance, the carpet was swept in the room, had a moldy odor. The odor was likely from the fact that the carpet was dirty, plaster hanging from the ceiling. Definitely not a hotel I would refer anyone to.

Gross

The hotel definitely needs updates and better maintenance. The ceiling in our room was peeling from a water leak I suppose. The beds and pillows were super uncomfortable. I have neck problems and can I barely move today! The bathroom shower kept backing up. We had to wait in between showers for my family so it could drain. The pool was pretty gross too. Front desk staff that greeted me wasn’t friendly either. Just an all around less than good experience that I wish would’ve been different. We didn’t let the hotel experience ruin our last minute family getaway though. It’s just the last time we will stay there!

Yikes

When we arrived in the lobby we weren’t greeted at all; the woman rudely asked, “checking in?” And it didn’t get any better. She kept yawning really loudly as she was checking us in, and we suspected that she was on something. Our room was tiny, but mostly clean. The doorknob was broken and there was a bandaid covering the peephole. There was a sign that the pool is closed until further notice. Breakfast was average stuff you expect to find, but no sausage or bacon or eggs.
