Good value for the money.
Good value for the money. We did not pay a lot to stay here. The floors in our room were very dirty and we couldn't take our shoes off because of it. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was okay for that sort of food. No complaints. Took a look at the pool and it looks pretty dirty. I'm guessing not a lot of people using the pool this time of the year. A lot of the place is dated in It's Beginning to show. But you can't have it both ways. You can't expect having affordable price and have everything brand new either. Front desk people were very nice and the housekeeper I interacted with was helpful. I would stay here again.

Run down
It was cheap but you get what you pay for. It was clean but the paint was peeling off the ceiling, the bathroom door was peeling up and splintering, the front of the ac that covers the wiring was lying on the floor, the cabinet holding the mini fridge was in bad shape with the paint peeling off. The pillows were big and really firm so that was not so comfortable, but the sheets smelled clean and the bathroom seemed clean. It just a really run down place and it’s not a hotel, it’s a motel. The ac was really loud so every time it shut off in the night I woke up because it went from really loud to silent.

The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Dont plan on having coffee or breakfast due to the pickers clean it out by 7am . Televisions are decent size but you get 1 news station and first 48 hours . It needs decent stations for a hotel of its calibur.

Our bathroom had a sewage smell. At breakfast, we were there at 8:45am, there was no food. None of the service people seemed to care or apologized. The dining area was filthy and no one cleaned up. Very disappointed

Say NO to Croix!
First room was very dirty (tub, ice holder, refrigerator,etc). The room had a smell. I switched to room 219. There were roaches, odor, and also needed to be cleaned. The door latch was broken. I had to visit the front desk 4 times for a key due to my key wouldn’t let me in the room. I came in town due to a family emergency and I would never choose to stay at Croix ever again. It was such an uncomfortable stay. Unable to utilize the pool (dirty).

Upon arrival I walked into a dark room that just felt off, looked like a worn down version of the pictures on the site. I went out to dinner, came back and upon inspection I found they were bed bugs and a roach. I immediately took the keys and went back to the front desk to check out. Management was cordial about it but refused a refund, so lesson learned. Couldn't recommend this place less and if you do book it, make sure you book it as refundable in case you run into the same issues I encountered.
