Could be better
I feel the room could have been cleaned better. There was visible areas in the bathroom that had not been clean for awhile. The shower handle also was broken and didn’t work properly. Breakfast was basic cereal and muffins. Coffee and juice were terrible. The beds were comfortable and it was okay enough for the short time we were there.

The facility was relatively clean. The staff was polite. The room had an old dingy smell to it . The sheets and towels also smelled kind of odd like cheap bleach. There was some mold in the caulking of the shower. The room was climate controlled by the old version of the floor unit by the window which isnt a big deal but it was Off when we arrived, so the room was absolutely freezing. It took hours for it to reach 68 degrees. The breakfast was typical of a hotel and was decent enough. However, the entire lobby and breakfast area was freezing. Everyone eating breakfast was bundled up and shivering, commenting on how cold it was. They have a gorgeous fireplace in the lobby that could provide at least some heat if they turned it on. If we had paid anything more than $80 for the night, I would be upset. We pretty much expected the condition so I cant be too negative.

Pleasantly surprised
Very surprised to have been very comfortable at this Quality Inn. Haven't booked a Quality Inn in a very long time because of the conditions. This one was very comfortable. Safe feeling, safe parking lot. The young man when we got there on the night shift was such a sweet guy. The young lady that greeted us this morning as we checked out was just as nice and friendly. Well definitely be booking again when I'm the area

I found a bedbug in the first room they put us in. I killed it and brought it down to the front desk and asked for a different room. Thankfully, they were accommodating. They asked to keep the squished bedbug to show their manager and immediately put us in a different room. Thankfully, this new room didn’t have any bedbugs.

We arrived before noon to secure a particular room location that was not noisy. This accommodation was made, but when we came back after 4 PM that room was no longer available. The first room we walked in smelled of smoke. The second room was warm, but after several hours with the AC running it became a comfortable temp. After that the AC would kick on and off intermittingly waking us up each time. Even after turning it off completely we could still hear the adjacent room turning on & off. The waffle maker worked correctly.
