Don't stay here.
There was no elevator but 3 floors. The first room we were given had dirty sheets with hair and skin flakes present. After complaining we were given a room with 2 beds instead of one and the bedding was rumpled as if sat on. There were no washcloths. The tv remote lacked a back plate to cover the battery. The phone did not work so we had to go up and down the stair with our luggage to change rooms each time. The second room lacked charging outlets. For the price we expected at least a clean functional room with washcloths. We did not even try one of the 3 available bagels at breakfast given the room experience.

Third floor for us with no elevator wasn't the best, but good exercise. We wanted cheaper and we got it.

Not great
Staff were fine and accommodating, but the building itself is old and run down. I don't expect much for the price I paid, but I honestly just never got comfortable. Room could have been cleaner. Toilet got stuck in a refill cycle (though maintenance quickly resolved). Shower head showed signs of corrosion. Walls are paper thin and could hear the person next door snoring. Probably fine if you need a place to crash for a night, but not multiple nights.

Budget hotel for a reason
Hotel bathroom was dirty, hair in shower, dirt on floor. Bed comforter was all stained / dirty + sheets inside out. The wall at the window corner was cracked, damp and moldy. Worst stay of a hotel

Clean up your act!
We got in late and was there to visit family and other hotels were booked online so we reserved a room with them. Not my first choice. Bathtub, toilet and just bathroom not clean. No pillow case on a pillow. It looked like someone had been laying on the bed and got up. We were on the third floor. No elevators so we carried our luggage up 3 flights. Okay not the worst but the room came out of a 70’s show. I realize I stayed in those when I was 10. Others travel and need a place to stay or live. However, even they’d like a clean descent place. Clean up your act for others health! No one wants pubic hair and disgusting unknown bodily fluids left behind and not cleaned up. I don’t even leave mine at home! Smh Gross I’m not takin pics of pubic hair!

A hidden gem in Abilene, Kansas
I had the opportunity to stay at the Super 8 in October, 2024. While having to return, I recall why I chose to return to Super 8. The staff is friendly, smiles, helpful and incredibly great to work with. They, Jessica and staff, make the visit very worth while. The rooms have a mini frigerator and microwave making the place almost like a home from home.

Vacation
We had a 2 queen suite that was very nice as far as room and beds, but the mirrors and windows were very dirty. The bedskirt was torn. And the pillows were lumpy. Mattress was comfortable, and the carpet and furniture was nice and comfortable. Could use a little more cleaning. Nice woman at the desk. Not a great breakfast.

The bath tub had a bunch of long black hairs, no toilet paper holder and no ice bag. Now that being said, these things don’t bother me, but they would a lot of other people. I worked in a hotel industry in a maintenance department. I know people.

I suppose you get what you pay for. Dirty and dingy. Very little light. Ice bucket in room but no glasses. Only one small bar of soap. Trash had been left from prior occupants. Breakfast items were not fully stocked.

Super 8’s used to be no frills but clean and kept up. This property is old, run down. Door was ajar, propped open with dead bolt. Bedspread old, dingy looking, had holes. Cobwebs around the sprinklers. Tub very stained. If we were not dead tired from driving all day we would have walked out.
