Horrendous Check-in Experience
No one was at reception when I showed up at 7:30pm and I had to wait 10 minutes. It then took another 10 minutes to check me in. Next, when I went to my room there was already someone in it. Another 20 minutes then to get an empty room.

Don't waste your time or money. Go to the Marriot
We booked a shuttle bus, they had no room on the bus. The roof in the bathroom was crumbling. There was a remote control between the bedsheets indicating that it was not changed. Staff not at front desk and when they were the were not dressed professionally. (Blanket wrapped around their waist) Website said there was a mall in walking distance mall closed. No restaurant on site as advertised. Signs everywhere saying you are not allowed to bring food from breakfast to your room. No bedding for pull out couch, when we went down to the front desk to ask and tell them the phone in our room does not work. They told us to call the local long distance number. Then when bedding arrived it was nothing more than a mattress cover.

The appearance of the lobby first of all was very poor! Torn furniture. The bathtub was awful and I actually have whelps from bed bugs!!! I will not stay here ever again!!

We waited over 40 minutes for the shuttle to picked us up but never arrived so we had to take our own shuttle then there was no water when we checked in Then there was a cockroach in the shower

The housekeeping should be done every day no matter what. After the pandemic many hotels are engaging with the policy of cleaning the room every two days when it should be cleaned every day.

I do NOT recommend the Hyatt. So many problems starting with a TWO hour wait for the complimentary shuttle bus from the airport but we were assured all three times we called that the shuttle was “on the way”. This property is in very bad shape with cracks and tears in the common area furniture, and broken pool loungers. Our room was ready and appeared clean, BUT the mattress was old and sagging, our towels were threadbare and some had holes in them, the shower head was cracked and the bathtub faucet was not attached securely to the wall. We had only scalding water in the shower and little to no pressure. Our shower curtain smelled of mildew and there was an overriding smell of mildew throughout the room. The sink drain plug was unusual to say the least and in order to close or open the drain plug you had to reach under the sink and pull on a metal rod. No place to put a bar of soap as there were no soap dishes and the soap slid all over the wet counter. The toilet seat had a large crack in it. Wow. The bar fridge was not anchored to anything so when you open the door, the bar fridge would fall forward. I moved the decorative carpet that was tucked under the couch only to find candy wrappers and a few broken pens with the large dust bunnies as they definitely did not vacuum that carpet. And the walls are definitely thin as we heard our neighbour’s alarm, tv and music. The positives; excellent pleasant, helpful staff and great breakfasts. Still, don’t book this hotel!
